When I returned in the evening, I checked myself in, picked up my room card, and the lady at the front desk informed me that my luggage had already been taken to my room

The hot springs were great; I enjoyed a soak before bed, and there were complimentary ramen and ice cream available too

I arrived early and left my luggage at the front desk for storage

The hotel situated at the bus terminal where buses go directly from the airport. Staffs are friendly and always happy to help. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Freshments like noodles you can get for free every night

The location is next to the tram stop, Sakuramachi bus station and Sakuramachi Kumamoto is almost in front of you, so if you enter the city with arcades, you don't need an umbrella, it's cheap if you include the location and other things, the people at the front desk are smiling, the room and other places are beautiful, which is not the case with me at all, but the cleaning lady said, "...

Not bad, location is central (close to the main attraction of Kumamoto Castle). The soundproofing is poor though, got woken up at 5am by next door's vibrating phone/people coughing. Cute decorations in the lobby.

], in the locker room there is a large container of water and a paper cup to prevent dehydration, plenty of towels in case you forget to bring a towel from your room, and samples of toiletries can also be taken from the front desk

I had a really nice stay at REF Kumamoto by VESSEL HOTELS. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful

Right on a lively street, it's great! Perfect for a stroll or doing anything else. There's also a constant flow of people. Games, snacks, izakayas, and a convenience store are all downstairs

The hotel is right in the middle of major area. The hotel pays part of the parking fee at nearby lot. Many famous restaurants close to the hotel. The common area setup real nice. Free soft-drink, coffee, coco

The stay was very comfortable and everything was great. The room was clean and convenient for a solo traveler like myself and I got some good rest. It was easy to access with trams passing in front of the hotel

Located 1km from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal which was very walkable. Hotel wasn't flexible in their checking in so if u r early, u really have to wait until official chk in time Onsen was nice

My stay at Super Hotel Lohas Kumamoto Natural Hot Springs was a delightful experience. While the room was on the smaller side, it was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay

The hot spring bath isn't large, but it wasn't crowded, making the overall experience very comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor takes last orders at 11 PM, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

It was a clean and beautiful hotel. The large communal bathhouse lit up and became "stylish"! It's hard to get "stylish" in a bathhouse! There is also a sauna

This hotel is super convenient! It's located on the 9th floor of the AUM shopping mall, right next to the east exit of Kumamoto Station. You can find plenty of dining options on the 6th and 7th floors of the same mall

I recently stayed at The Blossom Kumamoto and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is literally next to Kumamoto Station, just exit from the Shinkansen gate, turn right, and you’ll see the entrance

Less than 5mins from the Kumamoto station (but note that the station is not close to the city centre). Room is clean, breakfast is free and good taste, the public bath is not large but still very relaxing.

The hotel itself is very close to the station and the breakfasts are good, I've been there twice and each time the food was a little different. The staff at reception desk is very helpful

We greatly appreciated her help in calling our next accomodation to clarify our booking in Japanese. This was a big help as the next hotel was in a hotspring village who did not have English speaking staff

The room was nice, clean and peaceful for my solo 2 nights stay, and the bed and pillows were really soft and comfortable. The toilet is slightly small but it was clean

This hotel is centrally located in Kumamoto, with easy access to both bus and tram stations. There's also a convenience store conveniently located right downstairs

The rooms are slightly larger than typical hotel rooms, spotlessly clean, and fresh. The pricing is reasonable, offering excellent value for money

The location was a bit far off as I had to take the tram from the Kumamoto station with my luggage and walk a bit of distance to get to the hotel

A beautiful hotel with large rooms and good service, the staff are happy to help wherever they can. A bus stop and a tram are nearby. A large mall is also within walking distance.

Neutral: There was a "2nd door" leading out the street, when you exited near the elevators (which I did, nearly every time); in between those two doors, you could look up and see sky. It was a bit ridiculous, every time

Positives: I hardly saw anyone but cleaning staff, which is a plus (for me). The bed was pretty darn comfortable. The electric outlet placement was "convenient enough. " Mini-fridge, clothes-refreshing spray, etc

The toilet and the shower were warm and inviting. The coin laundry cost me a total of 700 yen, took 2. 5hrs and got my clothes clean and nice-and-dry. Slow but steady! Keep the stays cheap and yes: I'll be back!

Room is not the best available but I can cope with that. Location is good and the staffs were very kind and helpful. We were looking for resteraunts and they offered calling to check if we can make a reservation

There are more parking lots in the multi storey carpark by side of the hotel. The hotel is very clean and I think it's relatively new. The front desk reception was very friendly n helpful

The hotel is located very close to near to the train station with AEON Mall just across the road. The hotel also provides sufficient parking space for guests

They also provide coffee to go. The first 2 pictures is the view from our room. Across the highway from the hotel there's a Daisy & an Aeon supermarket. Very convenient to grab some food n light groceries

You can pay 1500 yen, but it literally gives you nothing. You can’t use sauna and sento. You received no additional service or amenities. Even sleeping is hard — the staff changes sheets

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, but it's conveniently located close to the downtown area. I was on the bottom bunk bed, and it took some getting used to as I kept bumping my head

It was great to have enough space to stand and change clothes on the outside of the bunk. The large bath and sauna were a plus, and the water pressure was excellent

Do note that the locker room is on the first floor and the locker can't fit most luggages, so you have to keep your luggage at the reception

And last but not least it is close to the party area, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's a 10 mn walk to the bus terminal and 15mn from Kumamoto castle

They also provided amenities like towels and toothbrushes, and even pajamas, so you could stay here with minimal luggage

Fit for family. You may spend a day there.

I stayed in a Japanese-Western style room in the main building for two nights and one night, with two meals included. The front desk was spacious, quiet, and had a pleasant atmosphere

It's a shame, as the food itself was delicious. The foreign waitresses were also hard at work. The large public bath was an indoor rock bath with rocks placed inside, and there was a 90°C sauna

Dinner, which I believe was a kaiseki meal, was served quickly, and the food seemed to rush us along with it, so it was over in less than an hour. I would have liked to have more time to enjoy the food and chat

Since there weren't many other bathers, I was able to enjoy a very relaxing soak. The water and spring quality were nothing special, so I think it would be enjoyable for everyone

The staff were courteous and helpful. There were two elevators, which I think was sufficient given the number of rooms, but they rarely arrived, suggesting they were older

The counter attitude and service are very good and the room is very clean. It is very convenient to go shopping and visit Kumamoto Castle in the middle of Kumamoto city. There is a Kumamoto tram nearby

The room is in the downtown area and it is very lively at night. Kumamoto is not big and you can walk there. I booked the hotel during the holidays and paid a three times premium, but overall it is okay

The hotel is in a good location. It's very close to Domachisuji Station (trams and city buses), very close to Shopping Street (very close to Kamishatori Shopping Street), and close to Kumamoto Castle

here is very good for business trip. also you can use for sightseeing. rooms and interiors were renewaled recently, so cleans. you can eat good Japanese style breakfast, and service is good too.

Better than expected! The breakfast was great, and they even offered free ochazuke and tea in the evenings. The service was excellent, and communication in English was no problem

The interior has an antique feel, yet it feels well-maintained. You have to go to the main lobby to get water, but all the amenities are provided at the check-in desk. You don't need a toothbrush or anything else

It's a bit disappointing that you have to use the lobby water purifier to get water, but there's a vending machine in the lobby, so it's not a problem. I couldn't use the bathroom because of my cold, but I slept well

This is one of the best hotel I have lived in Japan, the service is amazing and the room setting are great!!! Very nice and tidy room with a public Onsen on 2/F and free parking, this is one of the best in Kumamoto.

Our experience with this was great. Rooms were nice and spacious and love that there was a tub (even included bath salts for us 😊) Might need to take note of the stairs on the way up, but thankfully just 1 flight.

I wonder if she was a part-timer who wasn't used to serving customers? She seemed more like a dorm mother than a hotel hostess. There was no explanation about the welcome drink. When I asked, she told me where it was

There is a large public bath on the first floor. I didn't use it so I don't know how big it is. I think the prices are reasonable. It's very convenient as it's only a 10-minute walk from Kumamoto Station

I shifted from the city area to a place near the Kumamoto station so i could travel to the outskirt of Kumamoto city. It takes me about 7mins to walk to the hotel from the station

There is also a family bath, so reservations cannot be made, but each time a family goes up, they will be cleaned and you can enter

The scent of Darjeeling tea from Zemid, which I love body soap, shampoo, and conditioner for family baths, made me excited

It's okay, a bit small, but homely. The facilities are clean but nothing too extravagant. They offer a simple but authentic Japanese homestay-like experience. Good place for a stop-over.
