Traveling in Kyushu, Japan, I stayed in Kumamoto for two nights in a twin room. The room layout was well-designed, allowing us to open two suitcases comfortably. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy.

Clean and comfortable. But the shower in the public bath has an issue - you have to constantly push the switch to keep the water out, inconvenient to use.

The location is nice, close to the castle. It was nice to visit onsen in the hotel and try curry with horse meat in the evening. The breakfast was good too - buffet. The room was comfortable and clean. But the bed was sooo extremely small for 2 people. We are exhausted and could not normally sleep. I don’t know why the sell such small beds in rooms for 2. Have to take tram from kumamoto station to the hotel. The room is nice and clean. There is also.an onsen which is great. The hotel is situated in a lively neighbourhood whereby there are a lot of restaurants. The place became very lively at night.

I've stayed at the Washington Hotel on both of my visits to Kumamoto. Its location is perfect for exploring the city center and conveniently reaching nearby tourist attractions. Additionally, it's very close to Sakuramachi Terminal. Both the cleanliness and the staff's exceptional hospitality were highly impressive.

The room was spacious enough. I arrived early and left my luggage at the front desk for storage. When I returned in the evening, I checked myself in, picked up my room card, and the lady at the front desk informed me that my luggage had already been taken to my room. The hot springs were great; I enjoyed a soak before bed, and there were complimentary ramen and ice cream available too.

the hotel is conveniently located near a mall, convenience stores and a big shopping street. the free ramen every night was a bonus as well. the onsen was enjoyable and had a great atmosphere.

it is near the bus terminal so it was very nice to move other city. and staffs are good vibes and classic rooms are so sassy. if i come to this city again, i will book here of course. thank you for make a nice travel to me

Extremely close to the station! It's just over 100 meters to the Fukuoka station, making it super convenient for coming and going. Although the room was small and not far from Kumamoto Castle, I didn't spend much time in it anyway, so it was perfectly acceptable.

I've stayed at several Toyoko Inn hotels, and as always, I'm thoroughly satisfied. This particular location is excellent, right next to Kumamoto Station. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive. The breakfast was also quite good.

This was a gorgeous hotel and I enjoyed every minute - lovely room with a bath and great views - literally less than 5 minute walk to Kumamoto station and 3 minutes walk to the tram line.

Omg, to cansel another hotel and change booking to this was my best decision! A had awesome view! I really enjoyed it during the late evening, check the photo. Breakfast was so good, I never leave dinning area hungry. Lovely! In case the space is full, you can take it to your room. With that view, I wasn't against 😉 Other things like in every other Toyoko inn.

Wall is thin. I could hear people coughed and talked telephone. Bed was not comfortable. Their front staff was too busy and did not smile. However, I enjoyed the good view from window. Also, it is near bus from airport. The facial cleanser was oily and i immediately got pimple.

The hot spring bath was definitely a plus. However, the room itself was quite small. That said, it was perfectly fine for just a place to rest after a day of sightseeing. The 15-minute walk from Kumamoto JR Station wasn't the most convenient.

Kumamoto castle view, altho is from a far distance. Room is alright, beware if you are driving a SUV as their parking lots cant fit in. Overall satisfying.

Hotel room is same as the pictures that display on the app/website. Staff are friendly and polite. There is an onsite parking but you need to pay. The breakfast is good! I like the cakes! It's yummy! Walking distance to the castle and shopping area. A good place to stay!

It's located in the downtown area and has many restaurants and cafes. Parking costs 1,000 yen per night, but there is a multi-story parking garage. The room was spacious and I was able to relax comfortably. It's also close to Kumamoto Castle. It was a fun trip to Kumamoto.

NIce Hotel, there breakfeats is really good, would recommend. The staff is really nice even if you don't speak japanese. The loctaion is great, a lot of good resturants are close and one of the biggest bus terminals is like 5 minutes by foot.

This time, I stayed here with a friend. It was in a good location, very close to the downtown area. It was clean and I was very satisfied.

The rest is pretty good overall, with a good breakfast and service, but it's too small. It feels small even for one person. It would be better if it could be a little bigger. It's too stingy.

Very convenient and standard business hotel, close to the city center, with a convenience store on the first floor. The room is ok and clean. I feel very comfortable. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms, but there is no peculiar smell. The furniture and equipment seem to have just been updated. The staff was very prompt and the breakfast was delicious. Although it was old, it was sufficient for a one-night business trip. The bus stop in front of the prefectural office was very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

The room is bigger than those we stay in Osaka or Hiroshima . Location is very good , and easy accessible to shops and trams. Will stay again if I ever go to Kumamoto again .

I used it because it was close to the downtown area and the conference and dining venues, but the only negative thing was that the overseas guests were noisy. Other than that, I guess it's worth the price. I think the cleanliness is acceptable for that price. It can't be compared to the cleaning done in Japan.
