The location is good. The staff are very friendly. However, the pillows are too hard and I can't sleep well. The breakfast is not tasty (especially the rice 😢). There are plenty of options around, so I probably won't stay here again.

It was close to Sakuramachi Terminal, so it was convenient to go on the morning bus tour. There was no dust, and the free, light breakfast was good. When I showered at night, the water smelled, but it was fine in the morning.

The hotel situated at the bus terminal where buses go directly from the airport. Staffs are friendly and always happy to help. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Freshments like noodles you can get for free every night. Ice cream is free to take after 10pm. In the morning u can get free yoyurt. Hot spring is very nice and hot. I would stay at the same hotel if I come again.

I've stayed at the Washington Hotel on both of my visits to Kumamoto. Its location is perfect for exploring the city center and conveniently reaching nearby tourist attractions. Additionally, it's very close to Sakuramachi Terminal. Both the cleanliness and the staff's exceptional hospitality were highly impressive.

The hotel's location is absolutely superb, right on a lively shopping street! This does mean it can be a bit noisy, especially at night with loud cars cruising by. Make sure to choose a room away from the street.

We some issues with the room we got. Toilet has a foul smell but the service recovery was impeccable. We left for dinner and they helped us to shift rooms. All our stuff were placed exactly how we left them. They even brought over stuff we placed in the fridge. Parking is available on site but there are cheaper parking within the area.

The hot spring bath was definitely a plus. However, the room itself was quite small. That said, it was perfectly fine for just a place to rest after a day of sightseeing. The 15-minute walk from Kumamoto JR Station wasn't the most convenient.

The hot spring bath isn't large, but it wasn't crowded, making the overall experience very comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor takes last orders at 11 PM, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

The room was very clean. Staff were really helpful - I asked the front desk for food recommendations and they offered some good choices at late night time. Rooms were clean with toiletries well provided. Would be even better if some small utensils/plates could be provided in the room for some chill snack time. But all in all, 10/10!

This is a really good hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. It's got a great location being right near the main bus terminal, where I took the airport bus, a modern shopping mall, and a large shopping arcade (covered pedestrian street). It's also about 15 minutes walk from Kumamoto Castle.

The hotel/room itself looks slightly dated but given the proximity to Sakuramachi bus terminal (easy to reach by bus from Kumamoto train station) and walkable distance to Kumamoto Castle and main shopping area, we have no complaints. Staff members are very polite too.

Located near Karashimacho tram station if you came from JR Kumamoto station. Many combini and supermarket in the area. Walking distance to Kumamoto castle, Kumamoto inari shrine, and Kumamoto square. Locaten at a Perfect location (close to airport bus stip and downtown area) and they had a very yummie breakfast. They also gave several free things to use in the room, like a cool foldable hair brush (see picture)

I made a reservation on the day, so I put up with the small space. The unit bathroom was close to the bed, so when I pooped, the smell filled the room.

The location is quite remote. It takes about 7-8 minutes to walk after getting off the train. The room is really small. You have to get your toothbrush at the front desk. There are convenience stores around, and there is a main store of Ajisen Ramen.

The hotel is in an excellent location. You can reach the main attractions on foot and the transportation is very convenient. The room design is simple. The service staff are friendly and willing to help at any time, making you feel at home. It was a very pleasant stay here and worth a return visit!

It's close to the train station, about a ten-minute walk. The location is quite remote, far from Kumamoto Station, but very close to Luffy.

The view outside the window is great. You can overlook the entire Kumamoto. Although it is small, it has a TV, a refrigerator, and a bathtub. The view outside is beautiful. The mattress is neither soft nor hard, and the facilities are complete. Needless to say, it is clean and hygienic.

We stayed in a double room with a non-front-loading suitcase, about 29 inches, which was a bit tight. The room was also quite dusty, especially the curtains, which I didn't dare touch. The location was great, though, and the front desk staff were friendly. I'm not sure why, but during our four-day stay, we only got the face mask supplies once, and then they were gone.

I'm always satisfied with my stay at the Richmond, and this time was no exception. The room was in an ideal location: high on a floor, not near the elevator, and facing east (the hotel is east-west oriented, and facing west can be incredibly hot in Japan during the summer). Very convenient and standard business hotel, close to the city center, with a convenience store on the first floor. The room is ok and clean. I feel very comfortable. Breakfast is available from 6:30 in the morning. The basic meals are good, including bread, milk, salad, eggs, curry, juice, yogurt, and coffee. I stayed comfortably for 4 nights and enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you 👍
