The location is nice, close to the castle. It was nice to visit onsen in the hotel and try curry with horse meat in the evening. The breakfast was good too - buffet. The room was comfortable and clean

Good blackout shades. Noise wasnt too bothersome being so close to shopping. Shopping was a minute away which was fantastic. Good inexpensive place to stay for a night.

Traveling in Kyushu, Japan, I stayed in Kumamoto for two nights in a twin room. The room layout was well-designed, allowing us to open two suitcases comfortably. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy.

it is near the bus terminal so it was very nice to move other city. and staffs are good vibes and classic rooms are so sassy. if i come to this city again, i will book here of course

The hot springs were great; I enjoyed a soak before bed, and there were complimentary ramen and ice cream available too

And then retrieve the key back when come back to the hotel after the cleaning. No microwave in room, you need to go down to the lobby to use the only microwave in the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is a cheap and good stay

Hotel is in a pretty good location. Close to kumamoto JR station by Tram and walkable distance to the sakuramachi bus terminal/mall (5min). Serviable by both red and blue tram lines as well

This was my first hotel in Japan, and the front desk service was excellent, with very sweet staff. It was quite surprising to see guests queuing for check-in automatically keeping a meter apart

The hotel provides room cleaning for concurrent 3 days stay I believe (no daily cleaning, only change of towels), but you will need to pass the keycard/key tothe front desk on the day of the cleaning

Extremely close to the station! It's just over 100 meters to the Fukuoka station, making it super convenient for coming and going

Room is slightly bigger than the usual japanese business hotel. Pricewise was really affordable as well ($40+ sgd/night 1 pax)

Amenities like toothbrush & paste, face wash, etc are readily available at lobby too. The morning breakfast was heartwarming & enough to complete a nice Jap meal

Omg, to cansel another hotel and change booking to this was my best decision! A had awesome view! I really enjoyed it during the late evening, check the photo. Breakfast was so good, I never leave dinning area hungry

I've stayed at several Toyoko Inn hotels, and as always, I'm thoroughly satisfied. This particular location is excellent, right next to Kumamoto Station

Very convenient location close to the train station, and it's just a short walk to the A-line tram which takes you directly into the city center! The breakfast caters well to Chinese palates, definitely recommended! Hopefully, they can add some Chinese translations in the future!

The location is next to the tram stop, Sakuramachi bus station and Sakuramachi Kumamoto is almost in front of you, so if you enter the city with arcades, you don't need an umbrella, it's cheap if you include the location and other things, the people at the front desk are smiling, the room and other places are beautiful, which is not the case with me at all, but the cleaning lady said, "...

Not bad, location is central (close to the main attraction of Kumamoto Castle). The soundproofing is poor though, got woken up at 5am by next door's vibrating phone/people coughing. Cute decorations in the lobby.

Right on a lively street, it's great! Perfect for a stroll or doing anything else. There's also a constant flow of people. Games, snacks, izakayas, and a convenience store are all downstairs

], in the locker room there is a large container of water and a paper cup to prevent dehydration, plenty of towels in case you forget to bring a towel from your room, and samples of toiletries can also be taken from the front desk

Small but very clean. Beds are soft and if you don't mind the small rooms this place is well worth the money. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had.

Very cute lobby 😍 location near to shopping area with lots of places to eat. Within walking distance to Kumamoto castle. But to go to kumamoto station, need to take a tram ¥200. Room is very small but clean.

Loved the Kumamon themed room! They even included free Kumamon gifts. Friendly staff, although check in took a long time. Nice selection of amenities. Close to Sakuramachi mall, tram and bus stops. Would stay here again.

This hotel is great! The cleanliness is up to Japanese standards, and the facilities are neither new nor old. It's about a 1200 yen taxi ride from Kumamoto Station, or a 20-minute tram ride or walk

The Karashimacho tram station is just a short walk downstairs, making it super convenient to get to the JR station and the Kumamon Square (部長辦公室). Plus, there are great tonkatsu and ramen spots within a five-minute walk

This hotel is perfectly located, about a 5-minute walk from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal and 10 minutes from Kumamoto Castle. It's right by Ginza-dori, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient

The stay was very comfortable and everything was great. The room was clean and convenient for a solo traveler like myself and I got some good rest. It was easy to access with trams passing in front of the hotel

Located 1km from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal which was very walkable. Hotel wasn't flexible in their checking in so if u r early, u really have to wait until official chk in time Onsen was nice

The hot spring bath isn't large, but it wasn't crowded, making the overall experience very comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor takes last orders at 11 PM, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

My stay at Super Hotel Lohas Kumamoto Natural Hot Springs was a delightful experience. While the room was on the smaller side, it was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay

It's especially time-saving if your next destination is Kagoshima or Hitoyoshi, as Japan's infrastructure has been a bit disappointing lately – the railway is still damaged from a flood and hasn't been repaired, so you have to take a bus! As a business hotel, it offers good value for money and is a safe and secure option. While not particularly luxurious, it was a very satisfying accommodation option as a base for my stay in Kumamoto

Everything is good except for the small bathroom. It's simple, but the breakfast is also good. The location is near Sakuramachi Terminal, so it's easy to access, and there are many shopping places and restaurants nearby.

Breakfast is provided free of charge. Although there are not many options, it is pretty good. The living environment is hygienic and tidy

We got a room change because our original room had an insect, the staff was quick and nice about it. Room style is quite old school as it is an old building. There’s also a kumamon mascot that greets u at the lobby :)

Location is close to kumamoto station, you only need to take the tram for 1 stop. Alternatively, there is also a paid shuttl bus by the hotel that takes u around

I was very happy to hear that I could use the large public bath at the Washington Hotel across the street, and the Washington Hotel itself was very clean and I was very satisfied! The bath was spacious, and the complimentary ice cream and lactic acid bacteria drink after my bath were great! I also had curry! The room at the R&B Hotel itself wasn't very spacious, and the tables seemed to be packed

NIce Hotel, there breakfeats is really good, would recommend. The staff is really nice even if you don't speak japanese

With the flu going around, I wish they'd clean them with disinfectant. Also, I paid 800 yen for a plan that included breakfast, but the only side dish I got was boiled fish*, which was a bit disappointing

The lack of a mirror made putting on makeup in the morning a hassle. It was nice that there was a rack for luggage, but there were few hangers and no space to hang my hat

As it is not near the JR station, you need to take a tram to get there. But it is near the castle and the arcade where there are many stalls to shop. Service is excellent. The bed is quite comfortable too.

Had a very good stay in this hotel. I got a room that was probably renovated recently(not all rooms are renovated!). Everything looks brand new and modern. The room is spacious with a large toilet split into 3 sections

The hotel employees all of them were showed a good attitude and communication was no problem for foreigners

Less than 5mins from the Kumamoto station (but note that the station is not close to the city centre). Room is clean, breakfast is free and good taste, the public bath is not large but still very relaxing.

This place are good for shopping and Travel at Kumamoto. Hotel are center shopping Street. You can walk around every time. This place not parking but you can walking to 24 hours Parking about 5 minutes.

The room is bigger than those we stay in Osaka or Hiroshima . Location is very good , and easy accessible to shops and trams. Will stay again if I ever go to Kumamoto again .
