The bathroom smelled of damp

The stag were so welcoming in my arrival, remembering me from a few weeks ago when I stayed 2 nights. They had already organised a vegetarian Japanese breakfast for me.

The room was not cleaned properly.
The bathroom was small and the tiles were sticky and disgusting.
For this price, including breakfast, there was no midnight snack.
It would be better to choose another hotel with a bathroom.

It was also helpful that they laid out the futons for us.
The bath was clean and we were able to relax in the warm water. The parking lot was hard to find.
I was able to get a good rest...Thank you very much.

Noisy Japanese male groups didn't close the door and keep talking loud even in midnight. Closing doors without holding the handles was really loud and disturbing at 12am. I understand it was a nice time to hang out with friends but should shut the doors to let other customers rest properly. Do not choose the option with room chosen by the hotel.

The perfect hotel for those who love retro sensibility. The breakfast is also great, and you are lucky enough to be able to relax in the large public bath.

This hotel is rundown. Very dated rooms. Dirty room, thermos and bedding. The staff didn't apologize when I notified them of our issues. Ms. Hirano was kind, but the other staff didn't seem friendly at all. Expensive. No restaurant or karaoke, which was stated to have been available. Parking lot is down the street and costs 700 yen/night. It's reasonable, but they didn't mention a cost when sending me there.
We were very disappointed with our stay. I recommend you choose a different place, as we will never stay here again.

It is an inn with excellent cost performance, but at the same time, the facilities are quite old, and the customer service is average.
However, whether you are traveling by car or by public transportation, the location is excellent for traveling in Kochi City, so I think it is a good place to stay.
Also, if you are in a room along the river, you can get a bird's-eye view of the Tosa Electric Railway tram, so if you like railways or small children, you will be happy.

It was refreshing to stay in a room with a good view along the Kagami River, which is close to the downtown area of Kochi city. The baths are on the 1st and 5th floors and are divided into men's and women's.
I had a meal at the banquet hall on the 3rd floor. Kochi's bonito was mainly beaten, and the amount was large, and the pieces were thick and delicious.
The building itself is old and the guest rooms are mainly Japanese-style rooms, but the maintenance was perfect and there was a sense of cleanliness.
