Best Hotels in Kochi

Good location. Services are good. Staff tried their very best to help even though their English are not fluent.

It's easily accessible by airport bus, and best of all, the breakfast menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including seared bonito, so I always stay here when I go on business trips to Kochi!

It feels a bit dated, but as expected from the Nishitetsu chain, it feels well-maintained. The location is excellent, the breakfast is decent, and the staff are friendly

The location is really ambiguous. Dotonbori and Manten are also quite far away. Other than that, everything is good. From the facilities to the service, it was a struggle to get there. It was hard to get in.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions like Hirome Market, Kochi Castle, and Harimaya Bridge, as well as JR Kochi Station

However, the humming noise from the air conditioner was annoying at night. Those with sensitive skin might find it uncomfortable to sleep

The room is rather small. The bed is OK but the pillow is too small and not comfortable. The onsen is of course the attraction. The room itself less. Kochi is an excellent place for local delicacies.

Very typical dormy inn, good location, then bare minimum on most things but for the price, it's good. The Aircon has a cranky noise that affects you resting. But the onsen and the snacks are good!

I wish they would at least be more gentle in areas where guests can see them. Other than that, it was a really good hotel!

We stopped at the southern town of Kochi during our Shikoku cycling challenging around the island. It was a long day after 130km from Shishiku but finally arrived at the Dormy Inn at around 3:30pm

Staff are polite and efficient, the small onsen is lovely after a day out, and the location couldn’t be better. Skipped breakfast after seeing the 20-minute wait — I’d skip the meal plan next time

However, I witnessed a staff member in the kitchen area of the breakfast buffet being harsh with another staff member, and it made me feel like I was being scolded, which was unpleasant

Location is good especially if you are travelling by JR but is quite a walking distance to the attractions eg, Hirome Market, Kochi Castle etc

Very comfort , large bathroom, nice breakfast but not enough parking space. Good choice to stay in kochi

Check-in was smooth even though it was done via a machine, and there was a friendly staff member nearby who stepped in to help and speed up the process when needed — a small touch, but very much appreciated

Clean and cozy. Near Kochi castle and Hirome market.

There are convenience stores nearby where we bought snacks and enjoy the free coffee at the hotel lounge. We are glad breakfast is provided too as it can be a little difficult to find eateries nearby, and it is delicious

The hotel itself feels brand new, and that freshness really shows. The lobby is slightly more spacious than other Comfort Hotels we have stayed at in Japan, which made a great first impression

Good hotel. Will stay again !

The bonito tataki was delicious. Also, the breakfast area was conveniently located, and they made efforts to avoid overcrowding, which was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel when I visit Kochi Prefecture again

The "Yudono-Suiyokaku" at the Sancuiyuan Hotel is the only natural hot spring in Kochi Castle. Seasonal Tosa cuisine is served for dinner. It was a great stay and good food, and it was another wonderful day in Kochi.

However, the facilities were a bit old, which was a concern, but even with that in mind, the staff's attitude and service were very good, and I had a pleasant stay

I stayed here last year as well. It was such a great experience that I wanted to stay here again this year, so I chose this hotel. The quality of the food seemed to have improved compared to last year

I went to Hirome Market earlier than check-in time, but I was able to park my car in the parking lot. The open-air bath was also very nice, and the breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious

One of the beds was large, so it was good for co-sleeping with my child. We were given a can of beer as a welcome drink

The breakfast could do with being a little better in terms of quality and quantity, but it was very good value for money

Although it is a little old There was no problem. There is a massage machine in the room I was happy. I can't say the breakfast is delicious, but it's free so it's good enough

However the hallway and room smell of cigarette even though I'm pretty sure I selected non- smoking room ( which I always do however the booking confirmation did not mention whether the room is smoking or non smoking

You can choose a welcome drink when you check in, and the breakfast is also good

The room is very good, breakfast and afternoon tea are provided

The hotel staff in Japan are very good and the breakfast is very rich. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the subway, great!

It is close to the station, the room is not small, the disadvantage is that it is a bit old, the exhaust system of the whole building is loud, there is a certain low-frequency noise, the breakfast is simple, but the dining environment is good

The room is not big but very clean and the service attitude is very good

Location was perfect as it was very close to the JR station. The local food market was 15 min away. Room size was ok, not too small. Nice staff but didn't speak English. I was asked to pick a time for room cleaning

The hotel service is very good and the location is very convenient

I checked in late at night and checked out early in the morning, so I only stayed there to sleep. I wanted to enjoy the hotel and the surrounding area more. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is in a good location, and the building appears to be quite old. However, the interior of the hotel and the room decor have been renovated in a modern style

Not only was the snoring audible, but the sounds of the TV and the running shower were also clearly audible, and I can't help but feel that the building's structure lacks soundproofing (although I'm sure this varies greatly from person to person)

Unfortunately, I was woken up by snoring from the room next door. The sound was so strong that it felt like the person in the room was snoring. In the end, I woke up in the morning having barely slept that night

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the service is excellent. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate luggage. It's very close to Hiroin Market, and we went to a food stall for dumplings in the evening.

The bathhouse is small, but the water temperature is just right. It's close to the shopping street, and parking is very convenient. The selection of amenities is extensive

There's a small public bath (for men) on the top floor, but the large windows prevented any feeling of stuffiness, making for a comfortable stay. The location was also great, right next to Kochi's famous market

Good location, advanced facilities, high quality food, especially the breakfast buffet with many choices and good taste. The hotel staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which is a very good impression.

Wonderful staff that made you feel at ease and taken care of. Good breakfast selection as well with a wide selection of local and non-local foods

Pham Ngoc Thanh Thu in particular was really welcoming and wonderful at the front desk, she always made sure we had everything we needed, so big thank you to her!

The toilet and bath are in separate rooms. Nevertheless, it was spacious. What makes it different from other hotels is that there is a kettle of hot water and another one with cold water

At the door, a gentleman came to ask our names. He knew we were staying today and came to greet us. We were arranged in a Western-style room with yukata, socks, and clogs ready

I hadn't decided whether to stay in a Western-style room or a Japanese-style room, so I chose a Japanese-style room for the first time by myself. The room was clean and spacious, or maybe too spacious for one person

Great stay at Bright Park hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location is good. Kochi castle is about 10 minute walk away and there are plenty is restaurants nearby

There is no laundry service on site, but there is a 24 laundrette 2 minute walk away where you can wash your clothes for ¥300

I liked it very much! For a business hotel they are good. The room was very clean and quite large. The bathroom also quite larger than average. I would definitely go back if I come back in the area

I liked this hotel, the bed was comfortable and the location is great. U

This hotel is in a fantastic location, the Sunday Market happens right out the front door. Good eats, the covered mall, and train station are all a very short walk.

Many food stalls and ramen shops were opened till midnight so it's easy accessible from hotel. Staff were very kind and helpful. They try there best to communicate in English which is really to be appreciated

Perfektes Hotel. Very good service. Good stay also for henros. I will come Back soon

The hotel was clean and elegant with classic furnishings. The food was good in both evening and morning, and it looked and tasted good.

Very clean and nice hotel with an excellent breakfast and service. I enjoyed that they had a driving range on the facilities. The only downside is how far of a walk it is to the nearest train station

Supper was good! Wine is also good at a reasonable price. The customer service is also good. There is a charge for refilling bread

The parking lot is large and no reservation is required. There is no convenience store nearby where you can walk to buy things. The Japanese-style hotel with hot springs is very comfortable

I was really happy to have a large bath and sauna. It was great for relieving fatigue. The restaurant is delicious, so I recommend it

The good thing is the hotel, besides being new and clean, is within walking distance of Kochi Station (there's actually a tram line from the station with a stop two blocks away)

It's clean and new, and features a complementary breakfast of baked goods and coffee in the mornings. It seems to be people with younger people in town to attend a wedding

The rooms size and conditions were pretty good for what you are paying for. Note that everything is smaller than if you were in America, but it was clean and comfortable.

Good basic business hotel with a beautiful lobby, in a great location. Rooms come with breakfast and there is onsite parking available.

But if you're searching for a budget hotel this place is a good choice

Such helpful staff, great all-around. Arigato 🙏🏾. Highly recommend this place if you need to rest during the Shikuko pilgrimage.

I was able to stay here with peace of mind even with my children! The rooms were clean! When I asked the front desk where the parking lot was, they were very kind and explained it to me!

We arrived after 9pm so there was no welcome drink, but the breakfast was delicious. Also, the kids seemed happy with the children's slippers, which was a great help.

The breakfast selection was plentiful. I had some raw egg with rice porridge, which was delicious. The room was spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. Parking across the street was inexpensive

Nice hotel Got in house sauna for guest. Parking available on site but limited at 500yen per day. Walking distance to local tram.

The breakfast was better than I expected, and the bonito and pickles were delicious. I would like to come again next time

love their onsen. room is clean. parking available at 500 yen per day.8 mins walking distance from tram.

The space is larger than that of ordinary Japanese-style hotels. The hotel also has its own parking lot. The hotel has a simple breakfast with bread, eggs, coffee and tea, which is good value for money

The price includes breakfast, so it's a good deal. You can also earn Town Group accommodation points.

It was just fine. There was no problem staying alone. Breakfast was included and it was very good for the price.

It costs less than HK$400 per night, which is good value for money

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the train station, and also a 5-minute walk to shopping streets like Mitsukoshi Department Store. Kochi Castle and Hirome Market are roughly a 15-minute walk away

The hotel is located near the shopping street. It takes 8 minutes to walk to Hongren Market and 12 minutes to Hongren Market. I stayed in a Japanese-style room

I ended up stay several days at the hotel, which is very pleasant, authentic, clean and in a good location. The service is genuinely impeccable. Thank you I arrived at Kochi in the evening with no hotel reservation

I ended up stay several days at the hotel, which is very pleasant, authentic, clean and in a good location. The service is genuinely impeccable

When they could not find one for me, to extend their help, they offer me a special large Japanese style room for the night that it is not normally used and could accommodate many people on futons all for myself at the very affordable price of a single room

My last chance was to check in person at the Hotel Takasago Hotel, which it turned out to be fully booked as well. But the Front Desk helped me to find a hotel with availability by calling several of them in Japanese

The room is large and clean. Amenity is full of Kochi and fun. I didn't think the amenities would be fun. It was easy to understand because it was close to the station. I want to stay again.

Every hotel I checked, both online and in person, was sold out. My last chance was to check in person at the Hotel Takasago Hotel, which it turned out to be fully booked as well

There is a bath in the room, but I didn't use it because there is a hot spring with long opening hours. The hot springs are good, but foreigners can use them for 800 yen, so it was crowded between 2:00 and 4:00 pm

The cottages are nice, but quite far from the main building (across a bridge) which makes it hard to get to the onsen bath especially at night (must be hard when raining). Food and service are excellent 😀

We were plenty surprised with the hotel and its facilities after a long ride up. It is a beautiful property nestled in the mountains and is the best stay we ever had in Japan!

Prefectural Road 33, which is close to Kochi Airport and Kochi Interchange, is also under construction, and can only be passed for 10 minutes per hour. It hurts that other roads have no guardrails and are respectful

There is a desk, but it is an integral type of dresser, and my back hurts when I work at the desk for a long time. I can work to some extent, but it hurts that there is no safe or TV

We charge a fairly high accommodation fee for use during the year-end and New Year holidays, but we are not convinced that the bathing fee for outpatients is not up for grabs

Really outperform my expectations! Spacious. Well location is tad off as it's on one of the michi no eki, but you can head to ino for good food

The hotel is clean and posh and you get a very private onsen after 8PM Very good amenities and nice hotel

The room's modern Japanese-Western style was excellent. I particularly liked the flooring in the changing room of the large communal bath

The food was Western-style and very good. The alcohol prices were reasonable. The bathhouse also had a sauna, which was enjoyable

Overall, though, it was a good inn

Did not stay at hotel but looked very nice. Paper making workshop was underway! Good selection of local objects in shop... One of the most beautiful knives I ever seen. And paper everywhere as the local specialty

The room is big, the location is excellent, the service is good, I recommend it.

Hotel is in front of JR Kochi Station. Location is very strategic. We booked twin bed and the room is quite big. This is one of the best (3 star hotel) that we stayed when we visit shikoku area.

Very convenient location, just opposite to the JR station. We can have a view of JR station from our room. The restaurant - Rita Shokudo, which is not far from the hotel, is super good

The location is very good, just opposite Kochi Plaza, you can see it when you look up. The room facilities are good and the price/performance ratio is very high

It's very conveniently located right in front of the station. The room was well-cleaned, and the bed was good and comfortable. I would like to use it again.

The room is standard Japanese size but the room is good in size for 2 persons. About 10 to 15 mins walk to the main shopping street and food market
