Kochi, 1-1-3 Harimayamachi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It was a luxurious and clean hotel. It was an easy 10-minute walk to Hirome Market.
The staff's friendly and attentive attitude made for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was also very filling and provided the energy needed to get me through the day. I would definitely stay here again.
The location is really ambiguous. Dotonbori and Manten are also quite far away. Other than that, everything is good. From the facilities to the service, it was a struggle to get there. It was hard to get in.
The parking lot attendant was very polite.
The shower curtain in the bathroom had a slight damp smell which bothered me.
I've stayed here a few times before and it was still good. In Kochi, it's a good hotel. The location behind the Harimayadari Hotel is the best. It's probably one of the highest floors in Kochi and the facilities and service are the best. I'm very satisfied and want to go back.
The hotel was conveniently located right next to Harimaya Bridge. There was also a multi-story parking lot, so there was no need to search for a parking space. The staff were friendly and I'd definitely come back. The frozen towels provided as an amenity were fantastic, especially in the scorching heat!

The hotel is very old and conveniently located, very close to the fish market, about 8-10 minutes walk, there is a parking lot, but it is charged
The hotel is a little old, but the location is great!
I also thought the staff (front desk and parking staff) were very helpful.
I stayed in a twin room, and the room was spacious and very satisfying!
I'd like to stay here again next time I visit Kochi.
The hotel has excellent access to Kochi's tourist attractions, and I felt that the fact that Kochi Castle and Hirome Market are within walking distance was a big attraction. You can easily return to the hotel between sightseeing trips to rest or put your luggage away, and it was also very convenient to be able to return to the hotel immediately after enjoying a meal at Hirome Market in the evening
Although I only stayed overnight, the room was spacious and comfortable. I stayed multiple nights, and there were restaurants nearby, so I was able to enjoy a typical Kochi meal.
The parking attendant was friendly and I was a little happy to talk to me.
The hotel parking fee is 1,500 yen from April. It is an old building, so the bathroom smelled, but there is a Korean-speaking staff member.
I checked into this hotel while on the road, but it was worth it! But it's still clean! Although it’s small, it’s okay! I checked into this hotel while on the road, but it was worth it! But it's still clean! Although it’s small, it’s okay!

Rooms are beautiful, you're getting nice coffee as a bonus.
I only stay once, but I use it many times other than this. It is a hotel on the top floor of the prefecture. So the view from the rooms on the top floors and from the restaurant and bar on the top floor is beautiful during the day and night. Of course, the rooms and the staff are great. This does not necessarily mean that you cannot enjoy the view if you do not stay overnight. The restaurant and bar...
Very good breakfast.. Nice rooms
Very good, spacious to Japanese standard, very confortable, awesome restaurant on top floor great view and very good service and friendly
The best customer service of any hotel I’ve been at, bar none, including places in tourist destinations and major cities. We were stuck at chickurunji shrine and needed to get to a boat an hour away. No taxis, no Uber and not much English anywhere. We called the hotel - the manager personally came and dropped off a cab with instructions to get us to our next destination and found his way back himself...
Beer garden was a fantastic all you can eat experience. It was of course expensive but the quality was there. The venue was beautiful, they had a large variety of cooked and cold food as well as alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks. Definitely recommend for an event.

I stay here pretty much every time when coming for work in Kochi. Not many good hotels in Kochi and given its great location and good breakfast, hard to beat. Prices are also reasonable.
The hotel facilities and service details are excellent! Staff service is of high quality! It can also be regarded as a model for Japanese hotel chains!
Close to the shopping street, shopping is convenient. The waiters are polite and smiling. It is worthy of praise.
Clean and quiet on the commercial street
Great location. Walking distance to many attractions and dinning places.
The inside is relatively old and the hygiene is very good

We stay at comfort hotel several times and like it. The breakfast is good and delicious with many choice.
3 mins away from the station, very convenient for us to catch the early train. We walk 17 mins to Hirome Market and Aeon mall. Room size is good but the breakfast is the best, hotel even change the hot dishes everyday. Usually we don't like hotel breakfast but this one is not to be missed.
Love it. Location is just a very short walking distance from the starion. Breakfast is the best where they provide all the delicious lo all fruit, salad , local dishes. Thank you
Simple and good for solo traveler. Slightly out from the main location, should you have a car, it is alright. Parking at Hotel always not enough, moreover it charged JPY800 per night...
Comfort Kochi hotel is sooo clean and smells good. It is a wonderful start to a Kochi stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Complementary breakfast in the mornings and coffee/tea all day. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It was my first time in Kochi.
The parking lot staff was very kind and gave me lots of information.
I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and although it was old, it was clean and the futon was fluffy and comfortable.
Thank you very much.
At breakfast, almost all the guests were Japanese, so I was able to eat quietly and leisurely.
Everything was good except for the last response from the man at the front desk.
The hotel is clean. The yuzu juice in the hot spring lifted my spirits.
Kochi Castle, Hirome Market, and the Sunday Market are all nearby, so you can easily enjoy them.
Good location, decent service, small room
The hotel garden is very beautiful. The service is very good. The room facilities are average but very comfortable. The public facilities are great. There are great scenery and shrines around. The transportation is very convenient. It is a 10-minute walk from Kochi Castle. I will come again. The breakfast is very complete and there is local bonito.
The room was spacious and it was close to town, so I was very satisfied. The hot spring also had a sauna, but it might have been better if the sauna temperature was a little higher.

Both Kochi Station and Hirome Market are within walking distance. There is no large public bath, and the bathtub in the room is small. Guests were given a free drink of water. The breakfast was substantial.
A comfortable business hotel, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Shikoku Expressway Harimabashi Station. It's right next to Obiyamachi shopping street. You can choose a welcome drink when you check in, and the breakfast is also good.
The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean and nice.
I stayed here on a business trip.
The location is good and the transportation access is very convenient.
The room is not particularly spacious, but there is enough work space.
The accommodation fee is also inexpensive, which is helpful.
There is an affiliated parking lot nearby, so it is safe when traveling by car.
I stayed in a twin room.
One of the beds was large, so it was good for co-sleeping with my child.
We were given a can of beer as a welcome drink.
The breakfast could do with being a little better in terms of quality and quantity, but it was very good value for money.
Although it is a little old
There was no problem.
There is a massage machine in the room
I was happy.
I can't say the breakfast is delicious, but it's free so it's good enough.
The front desk person was a little unfriendly.

The breakfast was delicious.
There are many delicious foods such as moray eel bowls, and I thought the cost performance was good.
I stayed at Building B.

Becouse such a lovely front staff. Always say hello to me and natural service. I'm so comfortable to stayed Hotel Minatoya. Next time again go back to home in Kochi. Note that there is no elevator from the street to the lobby. If you have accessibility issues you won’t be able to stay here.
The Room is good by Japanese standards. If you're a foreigner who never stayed in a Japanese hotel, you might think this is small but it's pretty standard here. APA Hotel rooms are MUCH smaller. Great location not far from station and restaurant.
I used it for sightseeing, and they were happy to store my luggage for me.

the room size is very small for 2 persons. the luggage has to be closed all time to make way and can only open 1 at a time. breakfast was a fixed set with combination of Japanese and western. the location is walking distance to hirome market and shopping street..
This hotel is in a fantastic location, the Sunday Market happens right out the front door. Good eats, the covered mall, and train station are all a very short walk.
Hotel location is good but rather old & dated 。we were not able to park within the hotel . We were referred to a nearby parking which cost ¥700 for overnight parking which is quite a good price .

Good location, advanced facilities, high quality food, especially the breakfast buffet with many choices and good taste. The hotel staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which is a very good impression.
The price-performance ratio is very low. I live in a room on the 7th floor on the road side. There is a smell of oil smoke. Next to it is the exhaust vent of the anorectal hospital. I dare not open the window. If I don't open it, there is no ventilation. The toilet has a smell. There is no hot spring, only hot water bath. Except for the food and service, everything else is really average.
It was really awesome.....At the door, a gentleman came to ask our names. He knew we were staying today and came to greet us. We were arranged in a Western-style room with yukata, socks, and clogs ready. The yukata was super nice...I went to the big bathroom to take a bath at night and slept comfortably.

It was an old-style inn, but the room was spacious and I was able to relax.
The hotel offers traditional Japanese hospitality in a renovated setting. The view from the rooftop bath is amazing as well as the kaiseki cuisine.
This time, it was a weekday, but the surrounding hotels were expensive, so I decided to stay here since I thought I could pay the same amount.
I hadn't decided whether to stay in a Western-style room or a Japanese-style room, so I chose a Japanese-style room for the first time by myself.

Good basic business hotel with a beautiful lobby, in a great location. Rooms come with breakfast and there is onsite parking available.
Cozy nice room. Small but equipped. Comfy bed. Simple but tasty breakfast.
Nice staff and clean common room. Limited choices for breakfast (bread, coffee, yoghurt, bananas, juice, water). Rooms are very small and seem a little old. Air-conditioning unit smells extremely bad (moldy/fishy). Cleaning seems superficial (everything visible clean, but corners/nooks are dusty).
The rooms size and conditions were pretty good for what you are paying for. Note that everything is smaller than if you were in America, but it was clean and comfortable.
This is a newer budget hotel in downtown Kochi, and it's about a 15-minute walk from the castle and Hirome Ichiba, and the Sunday Market.
