The location will be great during other seasons except winter. As Aomori will be having heavy snow during winter and it is hard to walk from the JR station to hotel. Although it is only 550m away from the train station, it took us 40 mins walking time because it was snowing. The hotel itself is quite old but the room is clean and cozy. The bathroom is quite small and you might hit the wall easily. For anyone that has a tattoo, you will not be able to get into the onsen
Breakfast was decent and we enjoyed a lot. Walking distance to some of the spots, wet market, A Factory and others.

The onsen and breakfast were both incredible! Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese style food and lots of different drinks. I went to the onsen both when I checked in (closes at midnight) and then again in the morning before breakfast. What a treat! Staff were also very nice! The location is phenomenal as well as it's close to the station and main attractions.

Some people have said that the bed and pillows are a bit hard, but personally like it better this way as it's healthier for my back. Room is a bit older style and kind of small but I was just sleeping there anyway and so it was fine

Would definitely stay again!

It was quite affordable, and the outdoor hot spring bath was incredibly refreshing.

This hotel has a hot spring ♨️ that's connected to the main building, and the directions are very clear. The hot spring is also popular with locals, but it never feels crowded. The room key is an electronic card now, which is great! For check-in, there's a machine for self-service, especially helpful for non-Japanese speakers (with staff on hand to assist). The breakfast is incredibly abundant and super delicious. In the evenings, the same spot transforms into an izakaya, making dining very convenient. The bed is really comfortable for a good night's sleep, and in winter, the shower water is plenty hot, so no worries there. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Aomori Station, which is super convenient. The Furukawa Fish Market Aomori Gyosai Center is also just around the corner. Looking forward to staying here again next time!

It was great having a public bath, and the accessibility was excellent. The bed was also very comfortable.

Great location! It's a very local hotel where even nearby residents come to use the public baths. The common areas are nice, with a TV and comics to enjoy. The experience was excellent. You can even buy Aomori specialty mugs at the front desk.

The room was a bit small, especially the bathroom. However, the facilities were complete, and the onsen (hot spring) environment was also quite good, clean and hygienic. The breakfast was delicious too, with a wide variety of options, including drinks.

The location is excellent, just over 300 meters on foot from Aomori Station, right behind the Fish and Vegetable Market (where you can get 12 self-selected seafood bowls for 2000 yen).

I agree with many reviews; the hotel is quite old. It has been around for a while, so there are no USB outlets whatsoever. The room size is decent, allowing enough space to open a suitcase. However, the bathroom is extremely small. How small, you ask? You'll hit your head when standing up from the toilet, and you're bound to bump into something when turning around.

But, my significant other was very satisfied. Even though it's old and the bathroom is tiny, it has a large public bath and its own restaurant. The public bath is also open to the public, with a communal lounge area, manga, and chairs for relaxation, and both indoor and outdoor bathing options. So, the issue with the bathroom is tolerable. The hotel's restaurant operates until 11 PM, and my significant other commented that the food was good and cheaper than outside izakayas, offering a good selection of basics (rice bowls, noodles, steak, sashimi, fried dishes, etc.). Because it has its own restaurant, the breakfast area is also spacious, with apples and apple juice that were delicious.

Overall, I highly recommend it.

A very cozy hotel with its own natural hot springs and a restaurant. Not only is breakfast good, but the à la carte dinner is also a solid choice. It's really comfortable to just slip on your slippers, enjoy a drink, and then head straight up to your room.

It was okay, but I was too tired to go to the hot springs. The room was a bit old and had a smell, but the bed was clean.
