Best Hotels in Aomori

The location is also excellent, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. It's very comfortable and I highly recommend it

Location of the hotel was very good and ideal for us, close to all the places that we wanted to visit, and near to the Aoimori station which is very convenient. The room size was spacious for Japanese standard.

Overall was a good choice for travellers. A lot of food choices around the hotel, and lawson right at level 1 very convenient too. Approx. 5 mins walk to Aomori Station.

The room size is good, and it has its own private bathroom. This is my second time staying here, and it's very nice. I recommend it.

This particular location in Aomori has a very modern design and is super close to the station, with plenty of restaurants nearby – incredibly convenient! Plus, the bathroom and shower here are especially spacious, which is a big plus

A bit of a walk from Aomori Station but the hotel and room are well-equipped and has a nice view of the city and surrounding mountains & sea. It was an enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Both Family Mart and Lawsons convenience stores are located a few mins walk from the South exit of the train station which is located on the other end of the station

Although the room was small, it was very comfortable, and there was a free breakfast on the first floor.

The room was comfortable and quiet and clean. Standard small hotel room with all the standard stuff. The price was good and the staff were nice. Best thing is that it is right next to the train station

Breakfast provided is fantastic. Menu is changed everyday. Value for money. Location just next to shinkansen station. Highly recommended!

This was my fourth time staying at a Toyoko Inn. I really appreciate having a full breakfast at the start of a busy day. This particular location was fantastic right next close to the exit of the station

However, the location is very convenient for travelers heading from Aomori to Hokkaido, as it’s only about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Aomori Station. Best of all, the hotel provides free breakfast for all guests

We used baggage storage after checking out, which was no problem. When we were there they had an eco plan, which was that the room got cleaned only once at our 4 night stay, but could get towels whenever we wanted

Room is clean, their breakfast is great with fresh seafood! Worth to try! If you drive, they got many parking space to choose! If by walking, about 10-15 mins to busy area!

There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants within a few minutes' walk of the hotel at night, which is great! 👍🏻👍🏻 If I ever come back to Aomori, I'll definitely stay here again

We though it was good from the environment perspective (but we decided to not have any cleaning at all). Overall I though our stay at this hotel was very good

Cozy room, great buffet breakfast served! 👍🏻 Upon check-in, the hotel lobby offers complimentary 100% Aomori famous apple juice as a welcome drink to guests

Good location clean room bf has varieties  front desk friendly n efficient . Many nebula and art display

Good location hotel with valuable price. Easy to go anyway. Just opposite train station

it’s really close to the station. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Near to attraction as well

Excellent location, only 1 minute from the bus station. Staff was very helpful by checking in and out, but the English language was not the best. Amenities were missing, but after asking they provided some extras

The best things about this chain hotel are its location and price. Every branch seems to be right by a JR station and bus stop, which is super important in snowy Aomori. Plus, the price is really good

The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from Aomori Station. Unfortunately, there was a lot of snow on the roads, making it difficult to drag my luggage into the hotel

The room was of a good size, very clean and the staff mad me feel welcome from the moment I arrived

So, they do their best to provide quality service to everyone:)

Good hotel with good service. We had onsen for free

Bed was good, but there was a bad smoking smell all round the room. Luckily there was a filter machine in the room. Room was a bit dark and space was not much to put luggage but adequate

There is a bath tub that i could bath in which was good. They also provide free bathhouse service for guest. The only thing that could be improved is to provide free drinking water to the guest

There are 2 nice restaurants next to hotel and Lawson convenience store nearby and a shopping place too. The best part is we could park our car for free right in front of the hotel

Its located not far from Aomori airport and you could rent a car at the airport, which is right out the gate of the airport. U can book thru Trip for your rental car. The room itself was comfortable

Tasty breakfast, affordable, good transportation and customer service.

Convenient, nearly transportation location, good view

The hotel was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was also quite good. Its absolute best feature is its incredibly convenient location, being just a stone's throw from Aomori Station and the bus terminal

The location is very convenient to reach JR train station and food market. The breakfast has lots of choice and tasty. The public bath is not big but can access after day trip for relaxing

Breakfast was quite nice with a good variety to start the day. It’s also within walking distance to A-FACTORY, which was a big plus for sightseeing and shopping. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Short walk from train station. Near A Factory and Nebuta museum. Good base to tour Hirosaki and Hachinohe. Next to main food street. Good breakfast spread.

Everything is beyond our expectation from the rooms, to the staffs and the breakfast. If you wabtbto escape the ceoqded sappiro during winter, come to Aomori and stay at Richmond Hotel. We love it here we love Aomori

All aspects of the hotel are very good except for the location. It takes about 20min walk to JR station. If not taking train, then no problem. Breakfast is adequate and the breakfast price is very reasonable.

I highly recommend the breakfast; it mainly featured local specialties, with plenty of vegetables and less meat, making it very healthy and delicious. This time, I got to see the perfect snow scenery

The location is a bit far, about a 15-minute walk from Aomori Station, which was tough in the snow. Everything else was perfect though; the room was very comfortable, no complaints there.

Stayed in Aomori for four nights. The hotel room was well-equipped, and there was a convenience store downstairs

A stylish, modern hotel with reception on the 5th floor. Nice seating or working area near reception, also amenities and a microwave. Room nice and adequate size for a short stay

The hotel is very nice. Food also very good. Location is very convenient for travel. Room was very clean.

Hotel is kinda of old but it’s clean. Located quite near the train station. Breakfast was good. Overall ok for a nite stay

They said that the breakfast is end 08.30 but the staff started to clean up the breakfast area since 7.50. However, everything nice , good location good view, good food

Lucky that the weather and wind at night is cooler so we decided to open the window for cool air to the room. Happy for the opportunity to stay at this hotel in aomori

Very close to Aomori JR Station, most city attractions are within walking distance. The water pressure is excellent. The room is a bit small, and the facilities are a bit old but well-maintained

hotel location was very convenient, 10min walk to Aomori station. there were many izakayas and shops around this area. good stay

The hotel staff was excellent, helpful and good mindset. The rooms and facilities were comfortable. I enjoyed a lot during the stay

Room: Spacious Cleanliness: Good Ambiance: Excellent Service: Excellent Facilities: Good, though a bit dated

I put 4/5 for location since it's not close to the train, I was driving so not my problem though

Good location and very good room size. Parking was very convenient as there was a space right in front in the hotel. Would recommend

enjoyed the stay at aomori.good hotel, good room, good location.

Hotel provided very good service

The bathroom is quite small and you might hit the wall easily. For anyone that has a tattoo, you will not be able to get into the onsen Breakfast was decent and we enjoyed a lot

Although it is only 550m away from the train station, it took us 40 mins walking time because it was snowing. The hotel itself is quite old but the room is clean and cozy

The location will be great during other seasons except winter. As Aomori will be having heavy snow during winter and it is hard to walk from the JR station to hotel

The onsen and breakfast were both incredible! Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese style food and lots of different drinks

The bed is really comfortable for a good night's sleep, and in winter, the shower water is plenty hot, so no worries there. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Aomori Station, which is super convenient

A very cozy hotel with its own natural hot springs and a restaurant. Not only is breakfast good, but the à la carte dinner is also a solid choice

The room was clean, and breakfast was good, but you have to go early, or you'll have to wait for a table

Our two-day stay coincided with a heavy snowstorm in Aomori, but the staff were incredibly helpful. They pre-booked a taxi to Shin-Aomori for us, which saved our onward travel plans from being disrupted

The hotel's location is pretty close to the local products museum, but it's a bit of a walk from the JR station, especially when it's snowing. The hotel service was excellent and very professional

Location is good, some walking distance from station but acceptable. Breakfast is very nice, especially the scallop curry and apple curry!

It's very close to Hirota Shrine and the train station, and check-in was smooth

The hotel's location is excellent, right behind the Aomori Prefectural Products Center. It's about a 10-minute walk from Aomori Station, and the beach, Nebuta Museum, A-Factory, and Hirota Apple Shrine are all nearby

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Aomori. It's almost the cheapest price but offers top-notch service. The rooms and bathrooms are very bright and clean, with no odors and plenty of hot water

The staff are incredibly helpful and always willing to assist with any issues. The breakfast is also fantastic and offers a wide variety of options, so I recommend going early to get the best selection

🥺❤️ The front desk staff are very polite and can converse fluently in English with foreigners, making the check-in experience excellent

The price for a room with breakfast included was excellent. I had to walk a bit, but the affiliated multi-story parking garage was a lifesaver as it protected my car from the snow

It's a typical Japanese business hotel, providing pajamas and extra pillows (various firmnesses and shapes to choose from), as well as a wide variety of conditioner, cotton swabs, vitamin C, and welcome drinks

Each room has a comfortable large wooden table for working or reading, and the street views from the windows are beautiful

The room was spacious, the food was delicious and we had a comfortable stay, but although I understand that alcohol is charged for with meals, I don't like the fact that soft drinks are also charged for (though there were some free drinks)

The spacious Japanese-style tatami rooms offer a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, imbued with traditional charm. The futons are comfortable, and the low table and seating cushions are relaxing

The rooms are clean and spacious, with easy luggage storage. The hotel itself features a hot spring bath, perfect for relaxing after a trip

Located in the Mamon Onsen area, the tranquil setting is perfect for travelers seeking a traditional Japanese onsen experience

Apart from the food and drinks, I was very satisfied overall, so it was a shame

If they hadn't gotten the name wrong it would have been great

The hotel was in the middle of heavy snow at Hakkosan, so I didn't expect much. Although the service staff don't speak English very well, they are very hardworking. Both dinner and breakfast were good, especially dinner.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They even valet park my car everyday for my 4n stay there. The half board dinner omakase is very good with quality and diversity

34 years ago, I drove alone from Morioka, passing through the Oirase Gorge and visiting places like Hiba Senninburo (Cypress Bath for 1000 People), Jigoku Numa (Hell Swamp), and Manju Fukashi (a traditional Japanese manju dumpling)

Nestled on the slopes of Hakkoda Mountain, this hotel offered a peaceful and quiet retreat. The facilities were excellent, and the French multi-course dinner, in particular, was outstanding

However, that day I was staying in Aomori. This time, my husband and I booked the Hakkoda Hotel for a relaxing stay. It's an old, historic hotel, so it does feel a bit dated, but it's clean everywhere

The amenities are plentiful, and the thoughtfulness is evident everywhere, from the soft laundry bags and toothbrushes. Access to nearby areas is also easy with the shuttle bus, so it's not a hassle

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of Aomori station, room was clean and well maintained with a free breakfast - perfect for a stopover stay.

I used APA Hotel when I traveled to Aomori with my mother. The airport bus and Aomori Station are close by, and Honmachi and the shopping district are also nearby, so it is easily accessible

The breakfast was very delicious. I will use APA next time I visit Japan (even if it is in a different area)

There was a golf course nearby, so I used it. There was a convenience store nearby, and the room was compact but comfortable and clean.

Decent hotel. Could easily be confused for the other apa hotel nearby. Staff was very friendly.

I only had rice, miso based soup and natto which are the only ones I know besides bread. I wish there was egg at least. The staff were very nice even with their limited English. The room itself feels smaller than usual

It's a bit far from the station, but the rooms are spacious and clean, the radium hot spring was great, and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel staff's kindness and dedication are the best 😀 The Japanese breakfast was delicious. The small public bathroom on the 4th floor was especially convenient, and you could enjoy a bath in Aomori's hot springs~~"

The food was good. The tableware was nice too. The single room was spacious and comfortable. The amenities and drinks were appropriate. The bath was good.

I used Kyosai at the beginning of eating. I'm a baby, so I'm grateful that I could use a private room. The grilled condition of the sea bream and the amount of salt are very good

The room was clean and comfortable! There was a large communal bath, so I was happy to take a large bath. The breakfast that you can choose between Japanese and Western food was also delicious! I still want to use it.

The Japanese-style room and the large public bath are on the same floor, which is very convenient, and the bathroom in the room is also very large. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby

Authentic Japanese experience, traveling with 7 mth old baby, staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast each day was amazing. Get the Japanese style room for a true Japanese stay.

The hotel is directly opposite the aquarium and next to Asamushi Onsen. It's a 5-minute walk, and after a soak, there's a market selling all sorts of apple juice and fruit souvenirs

There weren't many guests staying at the hotel, probably due to the heavy snowfall in Aomori. Both breakfast and dinner were Japanese set meals. The sukiyaki and sashimi were excellent

The view from the room was great, I'm so glad I chose this place! The food was delicious too. The shuttle bus running every hour was very convenient for my schedule

It's a bit further out of the already very small town than other locations, so you're going to be in for a 10 ish minute walk to anywhere except the beach

It was just us and one other couple dining. In the evening, there was a Nebuta performance and sanshin (three-stringed instrument) music

Free drinks with alcohol at the lobby and live music. I loved it! I guess it only works as most of the customers are Japanese. So please come here but don't abuse 🙂

Nice view. Good food. Great serving. Acceptable hot spring. Outdoor hot spring area is a little bit small...

Context: 10 holidays in Japan, 3-5 ryokans with "onsen" or hot springs per trip. I have a lot of experience! The room I got wasn't fancy

Though the location was not the best it was really a good one night stay

We stayed in a relatively reasonably priced room facing the mountains, and the hospitality shown in both the staff and the facility was excellent, making it a wonderful inn

The hotel isn't new, and Asamushi isn't a dreamlike location like some other famous onsen towns. You'll notice I tend to be very strict with my Ryokan ratings. BUT! This establishment is generous

The hotel service was attentive and the environment was comfortable. A very pleasantly surprised stay. Dinner and breakfast were delicious!

The small roads of the highway leading to the ryokan are very narrow with a stone archway that's enough for 1 car to pass by. The parking lot is nearby, the staff was so friendly to help move our luggage from the trunk

There's a gallery on the first floor. Our package includes kaiseki dinner, and the food is quite good, although compared to the other 4 this trip, it ranks near the bottom

The pace was not good, we had to check with the staff a few times as we waited for our next dish. She also forgot about my beer. There was no explanation of our dish

The house also has exhibitions of a well known Japanese ink artist and a suitable lounging area. The minerals from the hot spring left my skin smooth and refreshed. I hope to make this a yearly visit

We stayed in two different ryokan at this area and we both absolutely love this one. Tsubakikan might not be the onsen with an ocean view, but they have more to offer than other ryokan hotels around

It's a rustic hotel up in the mountain. Would not be easy to get there without a car. Service was impeccable. Onsen is excellent The view from the outdoor onsen is fantastic The meals were great.

The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese

very near to the hokkado ropeway, 7 mins by car. hotel has an onsen. good for skiers who are looking for BC tours. no snowboards for rental.

The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage

Good service. Good food. Only the shower room is too small and facility not enough.

fabulous. excellent catering for gf diet.
