Very well kept hotel which was much better than I was expecting! The staff were very friendly, rooms are clean, and the air conditioning is strong. My only complaint is that the WiFi was spotty.

Location is a little out of the way which made it nice and quiet. It's also next to the Karaganda park which is a great place for a run. You'd probably need to call a cab to get to most places though.

A historic hotel and one which offers good value for the room size. It's not super close to the centre and you might need to grab a Yandex at times but it's worth staying at.

Old, big hotel. Close to Lake and park. A little far from center. Worst breakfast - 2 portion for one 5 person room, uncomfortable old beds, shower disfunction.

Avoid the rooms on the second floor. They are very large, but not very clean and do not smell very nice. Lots of history to the rooms and that is evident on the blood stains and other stains on the carpets. The communal areas are clean and the staff are pleasant.
