The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Fantastic hotel with lots of really cool history. Staff were lovely, room was really nice, and price was very reasonable.

Stayed for 7 days on business. The best thing is a gym adjacent to the hotel with a swimming pool, machines and a sauna. Very good wifi connection. Breakfast and food offer for dinner in the restaurant downstairs is nice overall as well. Rooms are standard but comfortable. The only thing is that aircon is noisy but can be disconnected. An excellent experience overall!

Upon arrival very early in the day & after flying for twenty-plus hours our rooms weren’t ready so not off to a good start. They did get us into rooms within the following hour- problem solved. Our first time in Kazakhstan for business. The food staff, front desk personnel are wonderful. If we needed something they took care to see we were taken care of. Met managers and again very helpful. Thank you all for a comfortable 22 night stay.

Room was clean but very basic with heater that was maybe little bit too small for room. Service in hotel is ok but quite slow. Breakfast simple and quite heavily in unhealthy side. Very difficult to eat healthy in morning. Car parking was available for free.

Wonderful stay at Senator Hotel Karaganda. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant the night before, and the service continued to impress. For our early checkout, Arina from reception arranged a packed breakfast that was ready by 6:00 AM — generous in variety and beyond expectations. Her warm hospitality and friendly chat made my first visit to Kazakhstan truly memorable. Highly recommended

Expensive and not many amenities for the price. Breakfast not included. One of the two shower heads didn’t work.

Overall, I liked the clean, comfortable place. The lack of a restaurant or cafe was a bit of a bummer. Although there is a bowling alley, I had to order pizza.

The room was nice, and the service was good, but the language barrier, low on cash, and the inability to pay by credit card made the problem. There were also no Chinese restaurants to choose from, and communication was difficult.

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced, with various themed rooms, staff were very friendly and proficient, we spent 3 nights in a standard room and our final night in bungalow with its own sauna, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Highly recommend this hotel

It seems to be a renovated old Soviet building. The rooms are simple but clean and the price is reasonable. I stayed there for 4 days in the summer of 24.

The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bed linens and towels are washed-out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for more than a night. As for the hotel cafe, the food is so-so, and the price doesn't match the quality.
