My father and I have been visiting Karaganda for the second year in a row, each time staying for a week at the Hotel Senator, which is undoubtedly one of the best places in the city in terms of location, service, facilities, and staff

Special mention should also be made of Altair – simply outstanding! All of this is the result of perfectly coordinated teamwork, which made us return to the “Balkon” every evening throughout our stay with great pleasure

Excellent hotel in central Karaganda. Excellent, professional service at all levels. 2 excellent restaurants and a decent a la carte breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable although yes the walls are quite thin

Located in the center, close to shops and catering. The rooms are cozy, clean, not smoked, the bathroom is clean, the towels and bathrobe are fresh

The food was delicious and very satisfying (there is a small comment, the omelet was very oily), pancakes with sour cream were bombically tasty and just melted in your mouth) Wi-Fi is free, additional menu is a refrigerator in the room

Located in the city center, near the Central Department Store, shops, cafes. A restaurant in the old Russian style, we got into a fairy tale. I liked the cuisine and the prices are affordable, not overpriced

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced, with various themed rooms, staff were very friendly and proficient, we spent 3 nights in a standard room and our final night in bungalow with its own sauna, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Highly recommend this hotel

I visited Karaganda from Canada. Had a great stay at the hotel. It's quiet, clean, very friendly staff. The front desk receptionist was very helpful with things like getting a taxi cab there and things like that

The ladies at the restaurant / canteen take a lot of pride in their work and one of them took time to explain me all the foods and what is what. I travelled a lot in the USA, Canada and Western Europe

Even going by the western standards, absolutely loved that place

Well, too hot inside the room, the plastic Chair inside the room ist very uncomfortable. And I don't know why they keep bird in too small cages....

The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bed linens and towels are washed-out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for more than a night

It seems to be a renovated old Soviet building. The rooms are simple but clean and the price is reasonable. I stayed there for 4 days in the summer of 24.

As for the hotel cafe, the food is so-so, and the price doesn't match the quality

The reception staff greeted us very warmly and checked us in quickly, explaining everything we needed to know. The rooms were clean, with towels, robes, and everything else provided

This is a clean hotel at a reasonable price. Room 402 has a separate terrace. There's a separate smoking area, and other amenities such as a conference room, sauna, and swimming pool

Of course, the restaurant doesn't control the road construction time, but still. The management should have warned guests booking a table about such inconveniences. But overall, the restaurant is excellent

The receptionist, Irina, was friendly and helpful. The room was cold due to bad weather, and the heating hadn't been turned on yet. They quickly resolved the issue, providing a warm blanket and a heater

We were pleasantly surprised to find such neat hotels along the highway. We were traveling from Almaty to Burabay and decided to take a break en route, and this hotel was our choice

I showered and slept comfortably. I was pleasantly surprised to find a working kitchen at the hotel at this hour. With the current quarantine, I thought it would be closed by 9:00 PM, just like the shops

I arrived in Karaganda very late (11:00 PM) and was already looking for a place to stay on the phone. I chose the Dafos Hotel and didn't regret it. The room was clean and had everything I needed

A very good motel. For the price and such service👍👍👍. The dining room is open 24 hours. The rooms are clean. I've been to many cities in Kazakhstan. And I highly recommend this motel.

But I was lucky and fell asleep feeling full and satisfied. By the way, breakfast was also good and delicious; the fresh scrambled eggs, just like home, were a particular delight

Avoid the rooms on the second floor. They are very large, but not very clean and do not smell very nice. Lots of history to the rooms and that is evident on the blood stains and other stains on the carpets
