The hotel was gorgeous and very comfortable. The spa and pool was a bonus! I gave it a four because I had to call the desk 3 or 4 times to request basic items like extra toilet paper and extra towels because no one cleaned the room when I had requested it on day 2 of our stay. Very nice hotel in the center of Shymkent. I recommend visiting during a stopover in the city or for a transfer. A taxi ride to the hotel takes 20 minutes and is quite cheap, there is a shopping center nearby. The restaurant is good, cozy, spacious, the ceilings are high. But the service is so-so. And the music is too loud, you can go deaf. Several times they warned to make the music quieter, but no one heard. And the restaurant is good.

I stayed at dorm 303 where the AC's highest temp is 25 and the body odor of my roommates is just all over. The toilet room floor tends to get messy after one takes shower because they do not have mats. For some reason, devices won't connect to the wifi immediately. Was working on the common area. Coin laundry is also available.
