I gave it a four because I had to call the desk 3 or 4 times to request basic items like extra toilet paper and extra towels because no one cleaned the room when I had requested it on day 2 of our stay. Very nice hotel in the center of Shymkent. I recommend visiting during a stopover in the city or for a transfer. A taxi ride to the hotel takes 20 minutes and is quite cheap, there is a shopping center nearby. Whenever my company goes on a business trip to Shymkent, we always stay at this hotel. It's clean, hygienic, and the service is excellent. Communication with the hotel is also very smooth. It's our only choice, and I highly recommend it.

I stayed at dorm 303 where the AC's highest temp is 25 and the body odor of my roommates is just all over. The toilet room floor tends to get messy after one takes shower because they do not have mats. For some reason, devices won't connect to the wifi immediately. Was working on the common area. Coin laundry is also available.

Second night here now, but I might stay longer. It's a very well-kept hostel with helpful staff. Decor is colorful. Location is great. Price is 5,000 tenge for a dorm bed, and you may end up with a private room if no one comes. Very happy to stay here. They provide lockers, towels, and slippers.
