There was no water during our stay and the internet and power were patchy. We left one day earlier as this was unacceptable but still had to pay essentially full price (-200soms, symbolic but insignificant) for our intended 2 night stay. I understand the water issue was out of the hosts control and is not the normal circumstance. I'm disappointed there was no leniency in cancellation/refunds over these extraordinary circumstances.
We booked the room with a double bed but when we arrived, it was taken. The rooms are first come first serve and I was told they are the same price, so it's not the end of the world, but I would rather have the room I booked.
The host is lovely, the food she provided was good and the space she provides was comfortable.

The beds are comfortable, the pillows are comfortable, the location was a perfect place to stop before heading to Song-kul. What truly makes this guest house special though is Lilliya! Her hospitality was truly amazing. She exudes kindness. The food she prepared for us was so delicious. And her English is 100% better than our Kyrgyz. Thank you Liliya for a wonderful time in your home. It was wonderful learning about you and your family.

Very friendly and helpful — they assisted us in getting to the starting point of the Kol-Ukok hike for 600 soms. The home is welcoming and cozy, and you really feel like you’re experiencing true Kyrgyz hospitality. Breakfast included. Diner is possible (and very good) for 500 soms

Thank you for everything! You are an absolutely wonderful host and a lovely, friendly family. My room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the accommodation was excellent value for money. The location is perfect: very close to the park and a short walk from the town centre. Truly some of life's very lovely people, you won't regret staying here. But you might miss it when you leave. ?Rahmat! Spasibo za vsyo! ?

The owner speck very good English, he picked us up at the bus station. The facilities in the house were very complete, and the breakfast was delicious. I was injured couldn’t walk well after falling off a horse at Songhu Lake, so the owner helped me to bring my luggage to bus station from guest house to the bus station. They are very kind family. I recommend everyone to stay here when coming to Kochkor. :)
