Located in a old house. Everything was old floors, carpets and beds. The walls were paperthin and you could hear every door slam on the same floor. Breakfast was small but ok. Great staff and service though. But all in all average at best.

Really love the hotel, super clean and strategically located in the heart of Old Town Riga! We can just simply walk around the old town at night, near to shopping mall and the hotel also provide paid parking space. Nice Breakfast as well. Would love to go there again someday.

Fabulous location and very helpful staff on reception - keen to give recommendations for restaurants etc. I happened to mention it was my birthday during our stay and they put a bottle of Rigas sparkling wine and flute glasses in our room with a little card wishing me happy birthday. I am picky customer/traveller and we arrived late in the evening and bit tired so I was looking for reasons to be unhappy with everything and indeed there was one occasion. Receptionist asked for my bank card details so that hotel could be able to charge my card if we used minibar items but I just never give card details just not logical thing to do nowadays. Not my first day in this hotel, I stay in this hotel my previous trip as well that’s why I selected this hotel. The breakfast bread is good. In my own personal opinion. An absolutely great restaurant to have dinner or lunch at. Great service - fast and welcoming; delicious food and drinks (the wine and cocktails are really good). The prices are not the lowest, but are quite satisfying for Jūrmala standards. Can totally recommend and will come back again!!

4 stars hotel, but I could say one star less. Rooms are very eco-style, looks like become old and runs out of time. OK, I understand style, but my comment is not about that - when you enter doors of the room, first you smell dust and see how all the walls, bed, mirror, bath and other things are shouting to change them to new ones. Villa Santa is a magical place surrounded by a forest, in the most beautiful town of Vidzeme. Every time I return there, I feel like home. The restaurant serves excellent food. In this place, every detail has been thought out for the well-being of the guests.

Beautiful old hotel nicely adorned with multiple buildings to stay in. Dinner was great and they easily adapted to our food sensitivities. Breakfast is more than ample with many choices for hot and cold. Don’t forget to do the sauna. Both regular and steam saunas in the hotel to go back and forth in or sit for a few minutes and enjoy the view of the forest.

High price does not match the quality. Shows that there is AC but it’s not working, so really bad to stay during hot summer night. Also, very noisy outside, next to the train station and main road.

Great location not far from sea and main beach. Wellcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast. But conditioner was not cooling down temperature in room while leaving windows open isnt great option as our windows was with exit on main street and it is loud that way. Utilitys in bathroom also needs refreshment, as for this price range it is unacceptable to have rusty holders.

Perfect location (3 min to the beach), really comfortable beds, and ample space for a family to spend a few relaxed days. 2 full bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath) and 2 balconies with outdoors furniture provide that extra bit of comfort that does make a difference. BTW, in a wonderfully equipped kitchen some additional kitchenware like baking paper and oven proof dishware would have been nice.

Great small hotel just a short walk away from the beach. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves all day long (recommend chicken cutlets!) with a good selection. Swimming pool is a good size, but we only went once because the beach is amazing. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel so you can travel in Jurmala quite easily. And the railroad just a short walk away (trip to Riga in 20 min)...
