Very amazing experience. We stayed for one 1 day, and completely new with that location didn't knew anything about it, but there was 2 kind receptionists. They helped us a lot in providing so many useful information. Really loved it. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and reliable.

After we had a horrible night in a hostel before this was heaven! Receptionist was very kind and eager to help. Bathroom and private rooms were clean, basics are all there.
Our windows were next to a garden of someone so we had a green view and parking was spacey and accessible
Only things is that the WiFi doesn’t reach the room we were staying in and even at the reception it was very slow.
We had a dog with us and they were very nice with her. No issues at all.

After having an terrible experience in Fortune hostel I decided to stay at Filaretai hostel my second night and what an relief and good experience I had.
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was good and it was easy to come with a car and park to the inner yard. Also big plus of being pet friendly 🫶🏾
Location was also great and city was only a short walk away.
Only minus was that the WiFi didn't work but the receptionist was very apologetic for that.
Overall a good stay 👌🏾

Good location! Bit old fashioned and not the most modern, but nothing to complain :) price is a bargain, bedsheets etc included :) would go again! 3 nights for 3 people 17e / person / night in a private room :)

I saw the review photos of the hotel, it wasn't that good looking, but when i actually entered the hotel it was more decent than what was shown in the photos. The service was good, receptionists were minding their own business, people were friendly, the atmosphere was good, but walking back to the place at was a little scary cause of the territory. If you want to go out at night i would not recommend because it might be dangerous there, talking from experience.

I actually saw my doppelgänger there, so come visit the place you might get the same experience.

I absolutely loved this hostel, even though I’m in my early fifties. I stayed for just one night but had a really restful experience. The rooms and bed linens were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very helpful—especially when I asked for a thicker duvet, which they provided without hesitation.
One of the biggest advantages is the rather spacious parking lot. I was especially grateful for being allowed to leave my car there until the evening after I had checked out. That gave me the chance to explore more of Užupis and the Old Town without worrying about parking. The location is excellent—everything is within walking distance, including all the main landmarks.
If you’re not too picky or enjoy budget-friendly travel, this hostel could be just the right place for you.

One of the better hostels I stayed at. The sheets and rooms are pretty clean. Bathrooms not so much.

I went there in April and it was completely okay. It was calm and I got everything I needed. The receptionists are very very nice with the clients, I loved them. At the end of the trip, even though it's simple, I ended up getting attached to the place, and I'll always remember it with affection, just like the city which is awesome by the way. Much love to Vilnius and to Filaretai hostel❤️

What a terrible experience. If you are a women travelling alone or in a group - PLEASE choose another option. The rooms are damp, there was a huuuuge wet spot on the wall, the bathrooms are dirty, but the worst part is: the hostel won’t do anything if other guests harass you. We were a group of women on a mixed gender floor and they gave us a room at the end of the hall (***). Every time we would need to go to the bathroom (which, everyone can just walk into, amazing) we would have to walk past a room of very drunk strange dudes, wo verbally and physically harassed us. Instead of stepping in, the guy from the hostel just left the situation and took the side of the other guys, because they were already staying for a couple of nights. We quickly left - the IBIS hotel is way closer to the city center, includes breakfast and is only like 6€ more per night.

It's a hostel - what do you expect?
Rooms ok, tidy and with everything you need for short stay.
They could have renovate bathrooms as those have seen better times.
There is small parking lot and neighborhood seems to be nice.
