This is a place I'd love to stay at again! As the name 'Camping' suggests, you really get to experience nature here. Initially, I was a little concerned about the appearance regarding hygiene. However, it turned out to be perfectly clean and a great place overall. I just thought that perhaps a slightly different aesthetic or atmosphere could make the impression of cleanliness even stronger. If anyone is hesitating about staying here, I'd definitely tell them it's a good place and not to worry!

Welcoming staff and very nice decorations indoors and outdoor. Early checkin possible without paying extra. Social hostel with many events and WhatsApp group. There is a nice common room and well equipped kitchen and many board games downstairs. Most showers do not have a functioning holder, so you need to hold the showerhead while showering and the pressure isn't the best. The heating was extremely hot during night and I was surprised they even had extra 2 heaters in the room. I was sleeping next to a heater and touching it during night wasn't very pleasant. Extremely safe as you need a code to enter and to leave the premise. My code however only worked on the day of my arrival and when I wanted to depart it didn't work (also when I arrived they realized they gave me the wrong codes. They could add privacy curtains on beds and inform about the option of getting a key to the safety box for a 5 euro deposit and fix the showers and reduce the heating. Then all will be perfect.

We came to Vilnius by car and we picked this hostel because it was marked as free private parking. When we arrived at the premises the receptionist told us that we have to pay for the parking space 6€ per night. However the rooms are big and comfortable. The trolley station is right above the hostel so you can get anywhere in the city from there.

Very nice hostel. Friendly atmosphere, a lot of space to sit down and relax, outdoor and indoor. There is a shared kitchen so you can buy some food and cook for youself. We stayed in a triple room with a shared shower and toilet and it was ok, clean and available. The bus station is next to the hostel, there are a lot of lines during the day and a night bus station (N88 line to the airport) is in 20 minutes walking distance from the hostel.

The outside is amazing and there alot of seating options. Rooms and toilets were clean.
Just the showers were dirty.
On the third day we stayed there a huge family arrived and the 10 kids were screaming and smashing door at 10pm... kinda ruined the experience.

I had a great stay at Downtown Forest Hostel in Vilnius. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with a perfect mix of comfort and character. The common areas were cozy and inviting — a great place to meet other travelers or just unwind after a day of exploring the city.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and always ready to give local tips. My room was clean and quiet, and the entire place felt very well-maintained. The location is peaceful yet close enough to the Old Town to walk everywhere easily.

I especially loved the forest-like yard — it adds a unique vibe you don’t usually find in hostels. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Vilnius!
