Antananarivo, Alarobia (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is conveniently located about 7 km outside of the city center. Across the street is a shopping mall with a food court and supper market. The staff are warm and helpful. I would like to praise Ravaka, Soviafa , Notiavina and served others whose name I cannot recall. The breakfast is good. Kitchen staff are nice and serve well. A pleasant stay and highly recommended.
Great experience staying here. The pool spa and gym are incredible. It also had a dream and sauna. Tono and Panel were very kind and helpful.
I had an absolutely amazing experience at Novotel Convention & Spa Antananarivo. The service was mind blowing from reception to restaurant, to the spa. A special shout out to Notiavina and Ravaka at the reception. They were exceptional. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the treatment at the Spa. I will definitely come back. I am super sold.
The hotel is fantastic; we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. Check-in was quick, and the staff member only needed my passport; otherwise, everything was well-organized for us.
Perfect stay in Novotel in antananarivo, the hotel in city center and there is a shopping mall front of hotel.
After all the adventures on Madagascar we booked our last 3 nights here to relax and it was the perfect spot for that.
Pools are on a smaller side for hotel but since we were only ones using them they were perfect.
Food was good, lots of options for the breakfast.

Safe location, wonderful staff, food not so good - overall highly recommended
a good hotel with an excellent restaurant. the hotel is located in front of a pond with some shopping areas nearbuy
It is a relatively good hotel in the capital and it is clean
The room is clean and tidy, the reception staff is professional and enthusiastic, the hotel environment is high-end, and the stay is comfortable. It is worth recommending.
The staffs were so kind.
And there are many shops near the hotel.
It was good to take a walk near the hotel.
And the nice restaurant they have .
The room is very clean and close to the city. There are many restaurants and supermarkets for shopping. It is highly recommended. The price is very reasonable and great value for money.

Carlton Madagascar is Carlton.
The staff was very courteous!
clean room, excellent staff….certainly not 3rd world…recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area
From the outside this hotel might not look overly impressive, but never judge a book by the cover and I’ll be staying again on any future visit to the city. The whole property has a traditional luxury vibe, which might feel dated to some, but it’s somewhat in keeping with the location. Checking in was a lovely experience and all the staff are friendly, offering and help and advice for the city. My...

Amazing staff, felt really like home though it was in a professional setup.
There are two IBIS in Antananarivo. Our hotel was very functional as you would expect from an IBIS. The breakfast was also quite good. A big shout out to the duty manager who checked us in and got us good restaurant reservations. Merci beaucoup
Ibis Hotel is a gem in Antananarivo with exceptional hospitality and warmth !
I just have to take a moment to commend the entire team at Ibis Hotel in Antananarivo. Whether you’re a local looking for a cozy workspace or a visitor needing a comfortable stay, this place truly stands out.
First, the front desk staff is fantastic. They speak fluent English, which is such a relief if you’re still mastering...
always feel at home at Ibis Antananarivo. The staff is warm, professional, and many speak English, which is a huge plus. Whether I’m working from the bar area or staying overnight, the service is always excellent. A big shoutout to Zo at the bar who makes my café lattes just right every time! Huge thanks also to Mr. Malko and the breakfast team, Mr. David in the dining area, and the always-friendly...
Great spot, friendly amd courteous staff.
Still some building to complete, especially the Gym/Spa area.
Street facing rooms might have issues with dogs barking all night..
I stay 3 nights here. In General the People of Madagascar are loving people so I'm not surprised that the staff here are very nice and helpful.
The breakfast is nice and I try some other food in their menu which was nice too with beautiful presentation.
The rooms are well kept and standard and there's free high-speed Internet

Best Hotel since 4 Years, especially in relation to its price. Not new and renewable, but nice old style classic, massive furniture, big rooms, wonderful beds, rooms and bathrooms. Very nice people at reception and service.
Good value for money. A little dated but comfortable and very friendly staff.
I likes the hotel & staff for the most part and the food & drink were very good. But the Customer service was lacking, I asked for help with suggested transportation tours but got No response. The AIr Conditioning wasn’t working in my room and the TV had just one French channel & nothing in English. As I understood it was not safe to walk around ar night, There was nothing to do but look at my phone...
TV channels didn’t exist, AC did not work, Door access was very intermittent, request for service was under-par…Other than that I liked staff & the premises & location
We came to the JIOI and it was accesible to all the facilities. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly
Back after 10 years in this cozy hotel decorated in homage to India, this time I took a room on the 2nd floor courtyard side with shower for 120 thousand Ar simple breakfast offered but I preferred to take the full 15 thousand Ar and I was not disappointed (coffee, fruit juice, 2 pancakes, croissant, omelette, jam, bread and butter). I checked into the hotel in early December. First, my room key wouldn't open the door. Second, the hotel was under renovation and very noisy. There were power outages at least three times that night. The next morning, the check-out counter didn't have cash to give me change; I waited about fifteen minutes and they charged me 6000 Ari ari, which was different from the 2038 Ari ari I paid online. There...
Good hotel. Staff are welcoming. Had a good stay for our first time in Tana. Near to street shopping. Only -ve point is since it is a busy area there is quite a bit of noise outside hotel which can be heard in the rooms.
Rooms were really large and clean with friendly staff
For Madagascar? This hotel is quite nice.
Comfortable stay. Staff very friendly. Steve the concierge was very helpful offering local advice and went the second mile. Will return
Very pleasant stay! welcoming staff, comfortable room, good food, and a great breakfast buffet. Only downside was the weak Wi-Fi connection

Nice place to stay in the region with great staff.
I only went to their restaurant and spa.
Restaurant is lousy.
Spa is decent.
I ordered a fresh orange juice and got a glass of artificial goo with about a ton of sugar and thickeners.
Restaurant at Central Tana much better though a bit pricier but by no means expensive.
Very good. We stayed 1 night before our flight back to Mauritius. The personal is very good and kind. I had an issue with my charger, they kindly went out and bought one for me (i paid and tipped). Basic but good room, had to negotiate van was to get to reception on check out. Food especially breakfast very good. Aggressive airport transfer demands
Clean rooms, extremely friendly staff and relatively cheap. Excellent lunch and dinner options in terms of cost and quality
Nice, spacious room, loved the pool and geberal feel of the place. The gym was disappointing (no free weights, only a few very old cardio machines). Shuttle to airport practical and appreciated.
I would give this hotel an "excellent" rating were it not for the restaurant, which seems pretentious. Otherwise, excellent room, great sleep quality, lovely grounds and not far from the airport. Good staff too.
This property is a little gem inside a brick wall city. The pool was a welcome relief, the massages were enjoyable and very well priced. The morning breakfast was excellent with multiple options including gluten free choices. The restaurant staff were attentive, friendly and ready to serve. The rooms were clean but not all rooms have mosquito netting around the bed.
Everything was wonderful. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. The spa was great. The massage was amazing and it was a great start to my Madagascar adventure.

Great location in city centre. Stayed within 2 weeks of protests but felt very safe walking in the district. Lift was out of order but room on level 1, so no problem. Really excellent breakfast and charming staff. Rooms not large but with all facilities working.
Friendly staff, massages were excellent. Food was delicious. Would recommend this hotel.
A very nice, clean hotel. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Simply top-notch. My family and I have been staying at this hotel since 2003, and it's always been excellent; the improvements keep coming, well done!
We had a very good experience at this hotel and the staff were pleasant. We had a lovely room and even some snacks and drinks.
The breakfast buffet is very good and you can choose whatever you want. I like vegetables and fruits. The facilities in the room are average and the room is small. The location is very good, right in the city center.
An excellent stay at the hotel. we had prearranged our Madagascar itinerary with the Hotel's travel manager Tatianah who did an excellent job in setting us up with a wonderful tour of key areas we wanted to visit. I received numerous emails and other forms of contact from customer service before I left home; the service was excellent.
Excellent property I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar was delicious for every meal. I highly recommend it.
Last minute booking and the hotel upgrades us in a suite because they had no standard room! Very friendly staff!!!Also suggested us a great driver with a great car, excellent guide,Mr FINARITRA,who showed us the Madagascar hospitality!!!
Large rooms with great showers! The roof top bar has great drinks, snacks and lovely views! Dinner was nice in their restaurant. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6am, no staff showed up until 6:30am which was frustrating.
Because we had to go from Thane to Morondava, we stayed in the hotel for one night. Overall, it was good (the surrounding environment was relatively messy), but the service attitude was very satisfactory. Our transportation was arranged to leave at 5 o'clock in the morning, and they actually helped us. It’s so thoughtful to prepare breakfast to take away!
Very nice hotel and rooftop in Tana. Big smile at the reception, very large, clean and modern rooms, beautiful view of Antananarivo at the Roof-Top with gustative food and good music. And you can go to the nearest sport club ACSA to play tennis and swimming in the ppl. Medium quality spa

Great place to stay. Shopping mall just across the road. Staff were friendly and available anytime. Good location with space for walking.
Had a wonderful stay at Radisson Tamboho! The rooms are very comfortable, staff super friendly and attentive. Loved the pool and the restaurant. Perfect spot to relax in Antananarivo. Highly recommended!
The room is okay, but it's best to avoid the first floor; it's a bit damp and cold.
We stayed at all three Radissons in Tana and they were all good. This particular one made everything they could to make us feel welcome. We are especially thankful for the free late checkout since our flight was after midnight. Thanks again!
Very nice staff. The room is great. And the food is delicious. They take care of food allergies. And prepare the food so tourists can eat without getting sick. Also take the skin off the vegetables so no bacteria!

Beautiful hotel in a central location. Within walking distance to everything. Staff are friendly and accommodating. But my stay could be better. Congratulations for this wonderful Team at Le Louvre & Spa Hotel Antananarivo, Madagascar. The Top Management and all the Staff Members are very proactive to make our stay pleasant at all times.
Good hotel with excellent restaurant and spa. Rooms clean and comfortable. I left a pair of augmented reality glasses in my room and was grateful they were returned to me on my return to Tana. The room is large, the staff can provide Chinese services at any time, and also provide car rental and translation. The location is also very convenient. The room is quiet and the Internet is available at any time. It is very good.
No hot water in the middle of winter.

Very welcoming staff.
When choosing Crystal Hotel, the first thing I considered was its cost-effectiveness. Local Chinese friends also recommended them because of their convenient location. The hotel is nice but the breakfast is very basic (tea, bread and jam). The location is not too far from the city centre but in a dark and dangerous part of the city. Don't walk alone at night in these streets.
The staff were polite and helpful but the facilities were not properly working. I think it was good one day but now the management needs to take care the property.
To be honest, this hotel is run down and in serious need of repairs/ maintenance. I had to switch 3 rooms before they put me in one with a functioning toilet. Very helpful staff and updated hotel. Reserved two nonsmoking suites but one was on a nosmoking floor and the one on the smoking floor still smelled of stale smoke. This hotel is a suburban place but close enough to the city centre and most things worth seeing. Our room was quite large, a fully furnished apartment, fairly quiet. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast cafe offered a good choice. We were very happy there, thank you.
Not really safe but the hotel provided an employee escort into the town. We had to ask for sheets for the sofa bed, utensils for the kitchen area and toilet paper. The breakfast was very nice.
This is a nice hotel in Antananarivo, close to mid town. Close location to hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. Hotel provided seamless pick up at the airport and transport as well as transport to another hotel for the start of my tour. Bit overcharged, but that is to be expected. My Go-To Stay in Antananarivo!

The staff are incredibly warm and professional—they always remember me and go...
Despite the absence of a lift, which meant having to use the staircase to access the rooms, I still rate Tana Hotel a solid 5 out of 5. The spacious rooms, complete with great views, excellent lighting, and a comfortable ambiance, made my 3-night stay truly enjoyable.
The staff deserve a special mention: always smiling, attentive, and available around the clock, they created a warm and welcoming environment...
I love this place. Welcoming guys at the door, very helpful carrying your baggage. Nice staff at the reception desk. Very clean room. I had to change my room, and the room maids were so helpful. I strongly recommend this place. With restaurants all around, supermarkets next door, the flee market is 50 meters away and ATM all around. There is no better place to stay.
Located few kilometres away from the Presidential palace. Tana hotel is a beautiful place to stay. If you are spending the night in Antananarivo, I'll recommend this. The meals are also wonderful.
It is good to add that it is also very secured due to its proximity to the Centre of Administration.
The receptionists and attendants also speak English in case your french is not so good.
The staff members are always very kind and helpful. Very clean and cozy room. The place is perfect for business meetings and is very well situated. I always stay here during my trip to Madagascar and I would highly recommend it to other people travelling for business.

It's in a slightly scary section of town. The staff only seems to like if you speak French. Our other hotels had a safe dedicated parking area, away from the beggers. I didn't see that option here. The spa services cost way more than comparable hotels. On the plus side, the room was very nice and clean.
This hotel is located on a hillside and the view from the room was really pretty. The room was nice and cosy. The bathroom was modern, and clean. The staff is very kind here, they are smiling and helpful. The breakfast is not very versatile, but if you spend here just few nights, it's ok.
Good hotel in the city center, nice view, good food, the hotel also has security,
Located in an old area of the city, this is a comfortable hotel with good views, friendly staff, decent food and spacious rooms. The bed is a bit firm for our tastes and the shower pressure can be a bit hit and miss. As you really can’t drink, or even clean your teeth in the tap water, not supplying free bottled water is a real drawback - this should be an essential inclusion.
Nice place ,Good food , take your swimming suit they have a good pool and steam
I arrived at midnight and check in took a bit long. The room has 2 twin beds and sitting area. There is a small fridge and hot water pot.
