The hotel is conveniently located about 7 km outside of the city center. Across the street is a shopping mall with a food court and supper market. The staff are warm and helpful. I would like to praise Ravaka, Soviafa , Notiavina and served others whose name I cannot recall. The breakfast is good. Kitchen staff are nice and serve well. A pleasant stay and highly recommended.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Novotel Convention & Spa Antananarivo. The service was mind blowing from reception to restaurant, to the spa. A special shout out to Notiavina and Ravaka at the reception. They were exceptional. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the treatment at the Spa. After all the adventures on Madagascar we booked our last 3 nights here to relax and it was the perfect spot for that. Pools are on a smaller side for hotel but since we were only ones using them they were perfect. Food was good, lots of options for the breakfast.

I stay 3 nights here. In General the People of Madagascar are loving people so I'm not surprised that the staff here are very nice and helpful. This property is a little gem inside a brick wall city. The pool was a welcome relief, the massages were enjoyable and very well priced. The morning breakfast was excellent with multiple options including gluten free choices. The restaurant staff were attentive, friendly and ready to serve. Because we had to go from Thane to Morondava, we stayed in the hotel for one night. Overall, it was good (the surrounding environment was relatively messy), but the service attitude was very satisfactory. Located few kilometres away from the Presidential palace. Tana hotel is a beautiful place to stay. If you are spending the night in Antananarivo, I'll recommend this. The meals are also wonderful. Located in an old area of the city, this is a comfortable hotel with good views, friendly staff, decent food and spacious rooms. The bed is a bit firm for our tastes and the shower pressure can be a bit hit and miss. As you really can’t drink, or even clean your teeth in the tap water, not supplying free bottled water is a real drawback - this should be an essential inclusion.
