The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The service staff are also very polite and friendly towards guests. The only drawback is that it can be a bit noisy at night due to poor soundproofing; you can clearly hear motorcycles from the street. There's a large Filipino farmers market nearby.

The hotel is quite large and in a great location. The front desk staff's English wasn't particularly strong, but everything else was good.

The location is excellent, and the room is clean and bright. The mattress was so comfortable I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation design and high-quality toiletries. The front desk service was warm and efficient. Special shout-out to the two young men and one young woman working the night shift at the front desk! The hotel's 'Shashi massage' was incredibly comfortable, and I even got a discount coupon when I checked in, which made me extend my stay just for that experience~

This is a long-established hotel in the area, with a classic British decor that's full of vintage charm. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the bed, wardrobe, and desk in the room all appear to be very well-maintained. The location is super convenient, right at the end of Gaya Street. Just a few steps downstairs and you'll find plenty of great restaurants. It's also an easy walk to nearby malls for gift shopping. With the windows closed, it effectively blocks out most of the street noise from the lively area outside. The only minor downsides are that you'll likely need to communicate in English with staff during your stay, and the price is a bit on the higher side. Overall, though, my stay was very pleasant.

Purposely book on Friday & Saturday's night to enjoy the night markets and Sunday Market. Prefect and strategic place to enjoy in the middle of Kota Kinabalu City. Love it.. vibes² oversea.

Pleasant stay, clean room. Convenient location. But the hotel has almost no amenities. Only for staying

Very pretty and historical hotel. Friendly service. Superb location, just a stone thrown away from the gaya night market. The Christmas decorations were extraordinary, so much prettier than some of the good KL hotels.
Good water pressure in the washroom. Only tried to assess YouTube on the tv so not sure about their channels.
They called the room number to remind us to check out 30mins prior, so that's quite good.

Nice Hotel even if Its Old building, Neat and accommodating staff

Our stay in this hotel was okay , location wise it was super close to everything and obviously its in the middle of KK itself. I really loved the Christmas decor in and outside of the hotel. Room wise, it was very vintage , they provided Sabah Tea and Local coffee in the room which is nice but toilet has a bathtub but useless as it came without any stopper which is pointless to have a bathtub in the first place 😂I have no high expectation but at least change the toilet seat as it has yellow and black stain on it 😮💨🥲and most part of the toilet is quite dusty. Will i come back? i don't think so but it is an experience for a local like me and hoping they can slowly upgrade the room as the hotel have so muc potential to be viral with better amenities and level of cleanliness

Perfect location for the great Seaview and sunset in KK. Hotel gym is excellent with completed and professional equipment. We also enjoy playing tennis and pickleball for free!
