Didn't expect much for the price, but the duvet was too thick. Even with the AC set to its lowest (16 degrees Celsius), it wasn't enough. The duvet might have been clean, but it looked a bit dirty.

Pro:
Free bottled water, and free water filter at the ground floor.
The staff are polite.
Clean room.Close to gaya street.
Con:
The bathroom has a bad smell on rainy days (that's normal, just leave the windows of the bathroom open)

Not bad but some of the staff's are so moody and inflexible. Btw the blanket and bed sheet is quite new and clean.

Love the staycation there. The room might be a bit smaller but it does what it does so not an issue at all. Though I do hope they prepare iron and the ironing board as well.

Great value for money, very clean, and the front desk service was excellent. The area around the hotel is very lively. I really enjoyed this hotel and was satisfied with my stay. I'd recommend it if I visit KK again.

My stay at Summer Hotel Kota Kinabalu with my friend was a pleasant experience for those looking for a budget room with two separate beds. The room was comfortable, although some amenities were limited. The location is a bit quiet at night as it is situated at the back, but overall it was a good stay.

The KFC here is not bad in terms of food but in terns of service, not so good. Their staff kept changing always, made you wait queues for long.

Visited here a few times and found that the food is good especially if you like Nyonya and local taste. Standard of the food has been maintained for the few times I was there and it was not disappointing. The food is worth the money.
Service is good and the staffs were friendly. Parking is a problem here unless you do not mind going round the busy area or park a bit far and do a little walking especially during lunch hours. Dinner time should be slightly better.

Good Halal Chinese based cook with very nice & tidy surrounding. But a bit pricey. Luckily the food didn't disappoint. 5 stars if more parking space provided.
