Located at the middle of the city centre. One good thing is that the reception here is 24 hours. The staff here are pleasant which makes me feel safe and comfortable here. The room with air conditioning is clean and nice with high comfort level. The toilets have hot shower and are clean as well. The WiFi connection only works perfectly well at the reception/common area. Cheap priced and it includes breakfast as well which consists of eggs, fruits and bread with a few selections of jam. The shared dorms have lockers for the guests as well. A water dispenser at the ground level. Coffee and tea are available all the time. If you want to have peace and tranquility, this hostel is certainly the ideal choice. There is a bustling street market below the hostel during weekends as well. Overall, a cheap and good option to stay at Kota Kinabalu, surely will come back and stay here again.

rooms are basic, a bit dark but power, fan and aircon is working fine. i was staying during low season so it was really nice to have a slow morning with a free breakfast (toast, eggs, ramen) and chill in the community space, there was not a lot of other guests tho. not really sociable. walkable distance to nice food spots, malls and waterfront. the reception and housekeeping is really friendly

I loved this hostel. Everything was really nice, comfortable and clean. Friendly, helpful, staff. Perfect location. Washing machine available to use for free. Awesome common room area for hanging out, eating etc. I would definitely recommend and stay again. I am 63 and it really suited me, a great vibe.

Really nice place with great staff. We went to Brunei and back and they kept our bags and were really great in organising an early morning airport transfer. Got some good sleep here, though it is worth noting they are right on Gaya Street. Fantastic location but if you have a city view room, you will get the noise of the market and everyone taking apart their stalls to go home until quite late night and then the market on a Sunday morning they set up from very early. Simple but great breakfast and nice common area

We had a great one night stay here, really good location by night market and lots of cute coffee shops. Private room was spacious and clean. Shower was hot and powerful, with clean shared spaces. Common area was nice with sofa’s, free breakfast and drinking water. Staff very friendly :)

It is a very good and friendly place for backpackers, very friendly staff. It is in the central of the city, all the eatery and banks in a walking distance. It is about 15 minutes walk to the jetty where can get boats to the islands surrounding.

You cn buy fabric qround the area and customize ur own thingy with the variety of tailors here.
Some Tailor has been there since even 40years ago.
As pocture seen, u can tailored for some traditional kadazan wear here. Not many is doing the traditional outfit nowadays.

There is a night market below the bridge too.
Many tourist will be having durian there.
A famous chinese hawker who sell 菜头糕 worth a try too

Just rubbish everywhere. U can see empty bottles everywhere. Be careful with your belongings too.
