Swiss-Grand Beach Resort Kuantan in Kuantan

This is the best hotel yet so far-ideal for family with toddler stay in Kuantan. Love the vibe that bring such esthetic mood. Beach is well manage, clean dan nice. I had a good sleep and happy time here with my family. Sure will come again soon.

Really enjoyed the overall look of the hotel. It’s newly renovated, clean, and has a very nice rattan + Muji-inspired aesthetic. The whole place feels calm and modern, which I really liked.

However, because it’s still quite new, there was a slightly odd smell in the room. Probably from the new furniture or materials. Not too strong, but noticeable.

I also requested a simple room decoration for a birthday surprise for my husband, but since we arrived late, nothing was prepared. While the staff offered for us to order a cake from the cafe the next day, it didn’t feel the same anymore as the surprise moment was already gone.

Breakfast was good with a wide variety of food, and the location is convenient with plenty of food places nearby.

Not very recommended for those who wants to work from hotel as the lobby is hot with no aircond. Had to work in the room but it might be nice if the lobby is more comfortable to lepak and work.

Overall, it’s a pretty hotel with great potential, but there’s definitely room to improve, especially in terms of customer service and attention to special requests.

The view from this hotel is stunning. It’s a great place for a short getaway if you’re looking to relax. The facilities are complete, and the staff are very kind and helpful.

Overall - Rooms are clean and feel fresh (stayed in the family executive sea view room). Main areas are newly renovated with a fresh look, though some parts of the property still feel dated — generally well maintained. The breakfast buffet was decent with local favourites, a western spread, fresh juices and decent coffee.
Did not have a great experience at the BBQ dinner due to beach flies. Management took some time to react but ultimately replaced all the food and put measures in place to deter flies. It was off-putting, though it appeared to be an isolated incident — staff were apologetic and receptive to feedback.

Surprisingly good gym — older equipment but very complete with a rack and barbells. Plenty of spots to lounge at the beach. Spa was closed for renovations. There is a private ATV operator next to the resort which felt like a safety hazard, with children and adults riding unsupervised and recklessly.

An unforgettable experience and truly one of the best I’ve ever had. I visited before with my family, but this time felt far more exclusive and refined. The service was exceptional, and the entire place is absolutely stunning. Deeply grateful. I will definitely return again.

Immediate payment for pool side F&B, no option to charge to room bill.

Wonderful 3D2N Family Stay at Swiss-Grand Hotel, Kuantan

We recently enjoyed a 3D2N family vacation at Swiss‑Grand Hotel Kuantan, and it was truly a memorable and relaxing experience for all of us.

From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made us feel comfortable right away.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained — perfect for a family stay. We especially loved the beautiful sea view and the calming sound of the waves, which created a peaceful atmosphere throughout our trip. Housekeeping services were excellent and consistent during our stay.

One of the highlights was the hotel’s facilities. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids, while the direct beach access allowed us to enjoy relaxing walks and family bonding time by the sea. The environment was safe and family-friendly.

Breakfast was another pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of local and international dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options suitable for both adults and children.

Overall, our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free. This hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing seaside getaway in Kuantan. We would definitely love to return again in the future!

The place is very instagrammable and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the weather was bad, it was raining all day so we could not enjoy the beach view. The room is very comfortable and the cleanliness is a top-notch 👌🏼 overall it was a great stay, just the minus of the weather which i couldnt spend time enjoying the beach or sunset/sunrise. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, so it was really easy if you are looking for places to eat besides the hotel.
