Cenang Plaza Beach Hotel in Pantai Tengah

The location is fantastic, but there were some issues with cleanliness. We only stayed for a couple of nights, so we overlooked it, but I wouldn't stay here a second time, especially not for a long period. The breakfasts were nothing special. Everything else, though, was just wonderful: the sea, the sun, the island itself, the nature, the excursions, and the food 😁

Hotel is at a good location across the street from a shopping mall, great middle eastern restaurant upstairs. Langkawi Cenang beach is not so nice though, will need to travel further to find nice beaches that can swim. Not much going on at downtown Kuah, shopping mall is dead...

Location is excellent, across the street from a shopping mall. Not much facilities at the hotel as expected. My door lock was malfunction intermittently, requires house keeping to unlock for me few times during our stays.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The highlight of the stay was definitely the sea view—it was absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny. However, the room hygiene was little bit disappointing. We found ants in the bathroom (staff did all the best to get rid of), and the shower area looked a bit neglected and slightly dirty. If the management improves the housekeeping, this would be a perfect place to stay.

CONS:
(1) ants in and around the room - likes to linger around the table bench and toilet sink
(2) our room 310, air con fan is hitting something making a loud and repetitive noise when air con was turned on.
(3) room 310 also happens to be the room directly facing the cenang mall entrance whereby a busker performs every night. its till 11pm when they stop so you'll be faced with loud music till then if you're a light sleeper
(4) lifts have restricted access during night time but staircase is opened 24 hrs.
(5) walls are quite thin, most guests behaved apart from a russian group whom had decided at 2:30am to drink, sing in the foyer and play their loud music with their doors opened. called staff to settle this noise complaint and staff called back to our room (waking us up) shortly after to confirm whether the noise was present.
(6) clogging shower + mouldy ceilings. no shower door and exhaust fan does not work inside the toilet.

PROS:
(1) good location, infront of beach/ infront of cenang mall
(2) complimentary 4 x soft drinks in the fridge
(3) has a balcony, go city views and a good place to hang laundry if you have any.

Good hotel. Upon check-in, we were treated to beer at the bar on the second floor. There was a beach party until midnight. Breakfast was at the Old Town cafe next door; it wasn't very tasty and the cafe wasn't very clean, but the coffee was excellent.

Service was good. No complaint. Breakfast was at old town white coffee across the road in Cenang Mall. Parking was also shared with Cenang Mall. Luckily, all were within walking distance.

This hotel is near with heart of cenang. The opposite is a mall. Easy to find food . So many food around this hotel. If u wanna easy ways to find food and do walking around this hotel is recomended.

We loved the place. It's nothing fancy but served the purpose of quick access to the beach, food and shopping. It has no dedicated parking but arrangement with the Chenanag Mall parking located just opposite. We took street view rooms, felt quiet overall. The breakfast was also arranged through White Hall Restaurant in Chenanag Mall. Basic option like kaya toast, egg toast, Nasi Lamek was provided as Break Fast. I would recommend the hotel.
