Dive Villa Hotel in Thoddoo

Everything you need for your stay. It’s our 4th year vacation in Maledives. Clean rooms, great restaurant and friendly staff. 1 min from the speedboat, 5 min to the small and definitely the best beach on the east side of the island.

Dive Villa Thoddoo is a great place to stay. It has several rooms, own restaurant and beautiful front yard with outdoor kitchen. I liked that hotel was peaceful and quiet/silent.
Location is fantastic: 2 minutes of walking to the supermarket, ATM, children’s playground (if you have a child), boat station and harbor. 5-10 minutes of walking to the Sunrise beach. 20 minutes of walking distance to the Sunset beach. Stadium, mosque and several restaurants were also nearby.

I can recommend my Room #5 deep in the territory. There was everything for comfortable stay: large and comfy bed with clean bed sheet, TV, bedside and ceiling lamps, wardrobe, fridge, cloth hangers, ceiling fan, air conditioner and drinking water, bathroom with shower and toilet.

Outdoor kitchen with complimentary tea and filtered water was very useful. I used it a lot to have some tea during night time or to peel mango.
I had my breakfast, lunch and dinners in the restaurant of Dive Villa Thoddoo. It was very comfortable as I didn’t want to look for other restaurants. Russian, Maldivian and international food was available for ordering. Their restaurant is also very popular among other tourists from different hotels. They were coming for lunch and dinner every day.

Room cleaning service was offered daily, but I didn’t need it as I barely made a mess in my room.

Overall, my stay at the Dive Villa Thoddoo was very enjoyable and comfortable. I can highly recommend Dive Villa Thoddoo for short and long term stay.

Amazing hotel, probably the best in Thoddoo. It is located on the same territory with the delicious restaurant Black Anchor, breakfasts and all meals are served there. Polite and kind staff, timely room service and also free masks / fins and other swimming accessories for all guests. Definitely recommend visiting

Thoddoo is a wonderful local Maldivian island. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the host, 'Mama' Rima, was already waiting for me at the harbor. She greeted me warmly and accompanied me to the hotel, where a refreshing coconut drink was waiting for me. She then gave me a tour of the guesthouse, including the amazing Black Anchor restaurant located on the top floor.

The guesthouse features a beautiful and green reception and lounge area, with plenty of cozy spots to sit and relax, especially on the rare rainy days (which only occur during the rainy season).

My double room was very spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, perfect for resting and sleeping. And of course, the restaurant deserves special mention—it's undoubtedly the best on the island! The menu and the quality of the food far exceed what you would expect to find on local islands.

Nice place and very friendly staff. Recommended place in Thoddoo. Near everything in the island and staff helps with info where to go. Peacefull "general area" with coffee and tee options and a place for smoking :) .

This guesthouse is our happy place! My husband and I spent almost two wonderful weeks in here and felt like home. Wonderful accommodation with all necessary amenities, just excellent restaurant Black Anchor (very stylish) with delicious and various food, big portions that we never could manage to eat, perfect service, great atmosphere! The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Sunrise beach and the port, and it takes 15 minutes to get to the Sunset beach in Thoddoo. The staff is utmost friendly and the owner is always there to assist in any question. Anna (the hostess) is very caring, we even got some little pleasant presents from her and the guesthouse, so we were surrounded with care and love and felt really welcomed! We would definitely recommend staying in this marvelous guesthouse when in the Maldives!

Meg and my friend spend 2 nights in Dive Villa, they organized the boat for is, welcome is with fresh coconut drink. The decoration in the room was amazing. We had very good first impression. During our stay they cleaned the room daily, we got water as well. Nice common arra, you could make there coffe and tea. Everything is walking distance on the island. The beakfast alsó delicious, traditional maldives food and always with some fruits. The room was cozy and comfortable , look new and nice. :) B

Nice little place that is maintained and managed very well. I stayed here for a week and everything was just perfect. Rooms are quite comfortable, spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast is really nice. The staff is super friendly, and took care of everything I needed with a smile. There is an attached restaurant called Black Anchor that is part of this property, and serves probably the best food on the island. There are two tourist beaches on this island, which are about 15-25 mins by walk from Dive Villa, and they are easily among the best beaches in the world. They organize excursions and trips on demand. There is also a really amazing dive school close to Dive Villa which I highly recommend. Overall it is a great value hotel and there is not much to complain about at this price. My special thanks to Zayeem, Alice, Raju and all the other staff who made my stay so memorable.
