Feridhoo Inn in Ari Atoll

I wanted to love Feridhoo Inn but my experience is not good at all.
The location is in the middle of the island, which is perfect and the reason why I chose it.
Room which I was provided was simple, pretty clean BUT there was mould on the walls especially behind the bed. Photos from google and also booking are very misleading as I was expecting chair i front of the room, and rest beds in the yard when to relax. According to booking there should be also TV and safe in the room. Nope. In the reception is only small table with 3 chairs and swing.
To have a breakfast and all meals if you pay for are provided in different guesthouse 1 min away.

The biggest issue is one of the manager who is not reliable at all. He will promise to call or text you later when you are asking for trips and it will never happens. I have booked and paid in advance the accommodation for 4 nights and I was told that they are overbooked despite the fact that booking was still open but I was promised to be given temporary accommodation for one night before moving to Feridhoo Inn.
Unfortunately I was taken to Feridhoo Villa which I didn’t like for many reasons although it’s much better hotel in bad location but as it should be only for one night I said ok. To be honest they were planning to leave me there. Well it was heavy raining for 3 days constantly in Maldives and another excuse from one of the manager came … they will move me when rain is better. I have wasted two days in place where I couldn’t go and sit outside, no TV or wifi working and possibly to talk to other guests.
I have been very unhappy and made them to come on evening and move me rain or not as it was only 4 minutes walk!

In Feridhoo Inn I have been given room without TV and safe (by booking it should be there!) they didn’t take my pasport details as they should (I was told they will come on morning), have been given answers for my questions according to trips and borrowing the flippers etc.

The other manager is absolutely amazing and lovely guy and we sorted trip, flippers in a few minutes (luckily I have seen him one morning). I have paid for tax and trip and as he didn’t have change I was told his brother - other manager who has always had excuses and I stopped trust him completely as I found he was lying to me several times- will give me money later. It didn’t happen until 10:30pm and I needed to ask twice.

Would I recommend this accommodation? Well it is hard as the location is perfect, all stuff expect that guy is lovely. It is only 3* guest house and I haven’t been expecting 5* accommodation but mould in the room, rats excrements in room (other guests were complaining), accommodation not matching to description… NO. I would say go and find another guesthouse as it doesn’t wort the money.
