My wife and I stayed here for 10 days earlier this year. The staff and location was perfect. The atmosphere was peaceful. The staff showed us Ukulhas and surrounding islands and took us on many cool excursions. They love where they live and wanted to show us their culture and life. Masha and I definitely recommend this place if you want a quiet island with beautiful beaches, good food, snorkeling, diving, and an unforgettable experience. Without question, this will be our destination and place to stay on our next trip to Maldives. Thank you New Moon Village! A wonderful and unforgettable experience with great memories for the rest of our lives!

I sincerely thank the manager and hotel service! There were the best Maldivian days of my life. They always listen to you and do everything that can to be comfortable. Good Wi-Fi, Clean and beautiful, great beach is very close, everything you need and even more are in the house. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and wonderful memories 😍 it was an unsurpassed holiday, thanks to New moon 😉

Very nice family guest house Nice room with air conditioning and fan. A good care and a rich breakfast as desired. Many excursion possibilities with the best connoisseur of the island. Shark whale, manta rays, dolphins we've seen them all. We were here for the second time will definitely come back.

This place is really fantastic, the host, Lucy, is very caring and helpful about all aspects of your stay. From breakfast to arranging excursions with good prices to giving advices about what to do or not to do during your vacation. He'll make you feel at home. The rooms are nice with all you need, the location is convenient (well, the island is so small, difficult to find a non convenient location 😁). The place is clean, you can ask your room to be cleaned when needed. WiFi works ok.

We made a reservation at *********** about 4 months in advance but as already reported by several other travellers they cancelled our reservation a week before our arrival without giving any reason. The hotel even disappeared from *********** site for a day or two, but re-emerged again afterwards. While staying on the island we checked the hotel and it was still in function. I highly recommend not to book the New Moon Village as there are many other nice hotels on the island.

Good Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning and fan. Delicious Maldivian breakfasts and excellent dinners. The beach is a minute away. The manager can organize many different trips (manta ray, whale shark,...). Very friendly and helpful hotel manager. Lucy thank you for a great Maldives experience!

this is my first experience that my confirmed booking (booked 2 month ahead) was cancelled by the host 2 weeks before my trip. The host does not give me any explanation nor offer any other options. only 24 hours left for me to accept it or otherwise even free cancellation will be invalid.

My wife and I had booked New Moon Village for 4 nights 2 months before the check-in. Just 3 days before our arrival New Moon Village has canceled our booking saying that they are overbooked and can't provide us with accommodation. Since there are only 2 days before our departure, it is not possible to find any good alternative at this point of time.
This happens not for the first time, it is possible to find other reviews telling the same. This means that this hotel just prefers to get more money from last moment bookings.
Beware and do not book this hotel if you do not want your vacation to be ruined!

Clean and nice property.
Kindly communicate with owner before arriving to property. About stay and food and etc.
Don't forget tobget mosquito repellent...
Bring every grocery stuff it's an island... !
