We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vignette Collection Noku Maldives Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth truly stood out and made our experience extra special.

The resort itself is stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Our experience at Noku Resort was amazing. The resort in itself was beautiful, and our days were jam-packed with activities. Our buddy, Jobin, has constituted as not just the island host, but also the main reason our trip went so smoothly, as he oversaw everything and made sure we were comfortable. In the Thari restaurant, one of the staffs, Surya, had always been there to supply us with whatever drink we wanted, and whatever snacks were available. Also, in the Palms Restaurant, Marjorie, who was a member of staff, ensured that all our orders came on time, as well as fulfilling our every need during the dining experience. The scenery was beautiful, and we were given a wide variety of cuisines and dishes during our stay. The sea villa with the pool was unique and spacious. It was an unforgettable experience,

Our time at this resort exceeded all expectations. Waking up to the unobstructed, breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from our villa was a daily highlight—it truly felt like our own slice of paradise. What made our stay exceptional, however, was the incredible staff. Their attentiveness and genuine warmth were evident in every interaction, making us feel valued and relaxed from start to finish. A special mention must go to the spa—the treatments were sublime, offering the perfect balance of traditional techniques and pure tranquility. It was, without a doubt, one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. The island itself is a nature lover’s dream. Lush, mature trees provide shade and a sense of serene seclusion, while the gentle rustle of leaves and the occasional sight of native birds and lizards made every stroll feel like a discovery. The commitment to preserving the natural environment is palpable and adds so much to the charm. With only 50 villas, the island maintains an atmosphere of exclusive calm. It’s the perfect setting for those seeking quiet reflection and undisturbed relaxation—you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in the peace. We had such an amazing time at Hotel Noku Maldives. It’s truly a lovely hotel—so private, with breathtakingly beautiful beach, crystal-clear water, and soft white sand. Every moment felt peaceful and special. What made our stay even more memorable was meeting the wonderful Nepalese staff and other team members who took such great care of us. They made us feel incredibly welcome and valued throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Chef Ronal, Chef Basant, Chef Amila, Chef Subish, Chef Robel, and Chef Steward Prakash. The highlight was when the Nepalese chef prepared an off-the-menu Nepalese Thali just for us—it was such a thoughtful and unforgettable experience that truly touched our hearts. We left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return!

Having visited the Maldives several times we know what to expect and have our own criteria when it comes to choosing a place for our holiday. After research we chose NOKU, now a part of IHG’s Vignette Collection. We always look for a small number of villas, at NOKU, there are only 30 x overwater villas and 20 x beach villas, they are very spread out so very private and secluded. The island is approx. 175,000sqm so lots of room and great for a decent walk around the resort. On arrival at Male Int Airport we were met by NOKU representatives who took care of our luggage, they whisked us off to the Seaplane Terminal, checked us in for the transfer and accompanied us to the dedicated Seaplane terminal lounge, unfortunately we had a 3hour wait due to the Seaplane departure schedules, no fault of NOKU. The seaplane transfer is always great fun and with only 4 x passengers we had a great flight, on arrival we were met by a team of NOKU personnel we were greeted with Maldivian drums a fresh Coconut drink, a very warm traditional welcome. We were then directed straight to a cool pavilion for a quick and efficient check-in and then whisked off in a golf buggy for a quick tour of the Island and on to our Villa (No: 8) where we stayed for the next 19 days. When you arrive your allocated host will get you connected to WiFi (which is strong and available all over the island, except beach) and to the NOKU App, lots of information available, daily activities, news and guests can share photos of their stay. You also have the ability to contact your host by WhatsApp if you need anything, the response is always almost immediate. At NOKU we chose a Beach Pool Villa on the sunrise side and were not disappointed, the villas are huge, with indoor and outdoor bathrooms, dressing/drinks area, seating area, king bed and a large decked pool terrace fully furnished with sunbeds, umbrella, hammock and table and chairs, your private pool is cleaned on a regular basis. All of this set on the most beautiful pristine, very wide white sand beach that leads down to the turquoise blue ocean. In fact, it has to be the best beach we have encountered in the Maldives, and one of the best when comparing other beautiful worldwide resorts we have stayed in. The gardens and beach are very well kept and maintained. The sunrise side is where the Seaplanes arrive and depart but this is really not a problem, we didn’t experience any disturbance. The Overwater Villas are also as spacious and private, on the sunset side you are closest to the reef so great for snorkelling directly from your villa. The house reef is also easily accessible from the beach on the sunset side, I wouldn’t say it is the best we have encountered in the Maldives but we did see an abundance of marine life, we particularly loved seeing the turtles, sharks and rays everyday around the island. A big consideration when on holiday is of course the quality and choice when it comes to dining, we were on an all-inclusiv

Second stay at Noku Maldives Vignette Collection by IHG—first for our engagement, now for our honeymoon, and already planning our first anniversary here next year.

In just 18 months, the improvements are impressive. The resort feels more refined, the service is elevated, and the food quality is truly on another level. The chefs are warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating in meeting our very fussy requests.

Noku keeps getting better every time we return. Highly recommended.

We used this hotel for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful experience in a lovely room.

There were some mistakes, such as a mix-up with our food order, but they quickly made up for it and said, "Please let us know immediately if anything else comes up."

Since it was only a short 3-night stay, we would love to stay longer next time.

This was our first visit to the Maldives and our stay at the Noku was exceptional. The location itself fully lived up to Maldives reputation as a tropical island paradise. Beautiful white sandy beaches, turquoise seas and the chance to see dolphins and swim with all manner of sea life - turtles, colourful fish and (safe) sharks - the latter all experienced at the hotel’s house reef. The hotel’s facilities were wonderful. From our very spacious 2 bed villa, the fabulous food to the luxurious spa and knowledgeable dive / water sports centre. Noku had everything we needed, capped with an amazing New Year’s Eve celebration with live music, fire dancers and fireworks on the beach. However, our abiding memory is of the friendly, cheerful, thoughtful and never ending helpful staff, who simply could not have been nicer or more committed to giving us the best holiday possible. Special mentions for the wonderful artwork made from leaves and vines left on our beds and, more practically, the way in which the gluten free dietary requirements of some of our party were perfectly met. The resort is peaceful and quiet for those craving relaxation and privacy, but no shortage of activities are available if that’s what’s needed. Few places can be described as faultless, but for us Noku was that.
