Excellent room, great AC and fan, comfy bed and pillows, lots of storage, safe, hairdryer, drinking water machine, Samir was so helpful and kind, lots of long interesting chats over breakfast.Traditional Maldive rishi, mas hunu and egg with fruit, juice and coffee. Quiet island with a stunning bikini beach a short 10 mins walk away.

The family who runs the guest house are absolutely lovely. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and made us feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable bed, great A/C, delicious breakfast. Beach towels available for use. Great Wi-Fi. Easy to access all amenities on the island. Absolutely recommend staying here.

Lovely hosts, comfortable room, tasty local or western breakfast, good wifi, good a/c in the room. It's easy to walk from here to anything you might need. Speedboat ferry was $10 per person from Male and took about an hour.

We had a great time staying at Midsummer. The room was spotless and the bathroom was super clean. Rafiq, the housekeeper, was very attentive to our needs and is a friendly face to see in the morning and evening upon our return. My stay was very quick but I was well attended to

The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations. The floors where this is already done have seen considerable improvement. The rooms are small but are equipped with all you need. The location is very good, few steps from the beach amd the bus stop of the airport bus. The staff was welcoming and kind. Great guest house with very friendly service and a great view. It is located directly at the beach (and i mean directly! :-D) Rooms are big and for the price you pay totally fine. If you expect more, pay more. Only critic: The house is not good isolated, so if it is really rainy or stormy you need earplugs. But that is obviously just the worst case. First the good things. The staff were amazing. Always helpful, always friendly, keen to chat and to make you feel welcome. This also translated into excellent service, and room was fantastic . They have cafe with plenty of healthy food choices as well as the usual decadent options. BUT…there are a couple of caveats.

The good thing about this hotel is the airport transfer, after a long hour of waiting in the airport , you don't need to wait to find a taxi, the driver will wait for you and bring you to the hotel. The feeling of blue sky and sea is still very good. It is very convenient to spend the night before boarding the plane. There is a drop-off service on the airport island. You can also visit Male in the evening. I will come again next time.

This hotel is a dump! Everything is terrible! It stinks, the room is so small it feels like a closet, the safe doesn't work, the bathroom doors don't close, and it's constantly noisy.
