Not a great stay at Kaani Village. There is no reception at this location. They share 2 receptions for 4 hotels and any time you need assistance you have to walk up and down the street. The reception staff isn’t very understanding or helpful. For the amount of money you spend on this hotel, they should be more helpful

We have visited Kahanbu for dining a few times. The host is Italian and the food is both fantastic and cheap. 15 euros included, salad, fruit and water. In addition, they have the most beautiful and very well-kept garden on the whole island, directly down to the best part of the beach.

We can’t recommend Kahanbu enough. Only 100m away from the fake surfer scene but feels like another world. Quiet, calm beach. Great snorkeling. Right next to the boat to Chickens. Cokes easily checked from the garden sunbeds. Breakfast and hanging in the garden was magic. Giulia was like an old friend after the first day. We loved it.

Amazing hotel, probably the best in Thoddoo. It is located on the same territory with the delicious restaurant Black Anchor, breakfasts and all meals are served there. I spent 5 nights here. I really enjoyed my time on the island. The room is fairly basic, but had everything I needed. I booked a snorkeling tour with them to Turtle Island and the Coral Garden which was fabulous and they also helped me arrange a transfer to nearby Maalhos since I needed to go on a Friday when the ferry wasn't running.

Rooms are not fine, for the yard rooms it looks like they stopped renovation in the middle, that front rooms are very old and not that clean, friend got bit by bedbugs during last night there. Food is OK nothing fancy, we did not get any grilled fish just some fried rice or similar home food. Breakfast is either sausage with fried egg and toast or maldivian coconut tuna with roti pancakes.

The scenery on the island is pretty good, but the sea trip project can't get enough people, so it's suitable for a group of people to stay together. The hotel environment and hygiene are OK, breakfast is included but it's a la carte, the variety is OK

It's a hotel similar to a B&B, with no hot water. In tropical regions, the lack of hot water doesn't have a big impact, but girls should be careful. There was no toothbrush (luckily I brought it with me), but fortunately it's not far from the beach, so it's okay.

It's expensive to go out to sea. The environment is old. If you don't tip, the service is bad.

I booked a twin room for one night, and the guy upgraded it to a four-person room on the top floor for free. It was very thoughtful. I could watch the stars at night and lie down in the holy place.

Very good location, near the bikini beach and restaurants nerby. Room has lot of space, ideal for 2 people, clean. We had half board included, meals were chosen from menu (soups, sandwiches, noodles&pasta, very good fish meals). Staff is very friendly, helpful with trips as well.

A nice and clean hotel. The staff is polite and smiling. It's a shame they don't have a pool. Otherwise, everything is top notch.
