My husband and I had our wedding at Fushifaru Maldives, and it was absolutely magical. The ceremony on the private sandbank was breathtaking—crystal‑clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and total serenity. It felt like living in a dream, and it’s a memory we’ll cherish forever.
The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our wedding perfect. We stayed for 5 nights, and everything from the wedding planning to our stay was seamless and stress‑free.
The resort itself is stunning: peaceful yet luxurious, with beautiful villas and incredible food. We stayed in a sunset‑side water villa, and watching the sunsets and diving straight into the ocean each morning was truly unforgettable.
We highly recommend Fushifaru for a private wedding, honeymoon, or a romantic getaway—it’s an extraordinary place.

We spent 5 nights in the sunset water villa (room 307).
This was our second visit to the Maldives (the first being in the Whale Resort in 2024).
Overall, we were delighted with our stay at Fushifaru. It's a resort that exists since 2017, so it wasn't spanking new.
The water Villas were spacious with breathtaking views. The rooms were tended twice a day. Ours had a jacuzzi on the terrace which we didn't use as the ocean was heavenly.
The terrace and furnishings showed signs of wear, but nothing shocking.
The food, however, was outstanding! Definitely better than the Whale Resort.
We took half board and honestly, we were never hungry. Eating lunch would have been a travesty.
Both breakfast and dinner were a buffet. There was every dish imaginable. Every evening had a different theme which was great.
We are real foodies and we loved the choice, the quality of the produce and the excellent array of dishes.
There's even a section of vegan food.
The staff at Fushifaru go to every length to make your stay enjoyable.
A particular mention for Vimal at the main restaurant, who was outstanding in his courtesy and efficiency. He always remembered our breakfast requests and was so attentive.
Jalal at the grill cooked fish and dhosas to perfection.

Our experience far exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome at Malé Airport to the seamless transfer to the seaplane—an unforgettable highlight of our journey—everything was perfectly organized. The Pool Water Villa was exactly what one imagines of a Maldivian resort: breathtaking and serene. We could dive directly into the crystal-clear sea from a ladder, and every day we saw beautiful fish, stingrays, and even large turtles right in front of our villa.
The room and facilities were immaculately maintained, thanks to the outstanding housekeeping team. Dining at Korakali was another highlight. We enjoyed the buffet a total of 14 times, and each visit felt fresh and exciting due to the wide variety, live cooking stations, and excellent quality of every dish. In particular, the warm and attentive service provided by Sanjib was truly exceptional.
Another unforgettable experience was the manta ray tour—we were incredibly lucky to swim with two magnificent manta rays. Words cannot fully describe everything we experienced at Fushifaru, but this trip has certainly become a lifetime memory for us.

Fushifaru offers incredible value for its price. We spent 7 nights here and absolutely adored the delicious food, the stunning lagoon, and the breathtaking ocean surrounding the deserted sandbank. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly, remembering my daughter's name by the second day! The menu varied daily, always fresh and delicious. This wonderfully secluded island is the perfect choice for a truly relaxing getaway. Just a heads-up: remember to bring mosquito repellent for the beach villas.

I was very pleased with the dedicated butler service for each room. My only minor suggestion would be for the butlers to be more attentive to WeChat messages, particularly as it's a common communication platform for Chinese guests; we sometimes experienced delays in receiving responses to our requests and questions. In stark contrast, the restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. What's more, the restaurant manager was almost constantly present, actively circulating in every corner of the dining area, and personally attentive to every guest's request and wish.

Fushifaru is a paradise! 😍We booked a Jacuzzi water villa, the design is great, the bed is big, the shower is also big and comfortable. All Fushifaru employees are very enthusiastic and service-minded. We are all-inclusive and all three meals are delicious. Our waiter Nattey is also very attentive and always cleans the table for us as soon as possible. 👍The sea is also the most beautiful one in my life, and you can see many beautiful fish! It is definitely worth coming again and worth recommending
