Jawakara was paradise from the minute we stepped off the seaplane. We were met by our island host who gave us a guided tour and escorted us to our accommodation. Every member of staff we came across couldn't do enough to help (Govin in Saima was so helpful and friendly). Our overwater villa was absolutely amazing and all the food and drinks of the highest quality. It is true 5 star luxury - we never wated to leave! All booked via Amit at Simply Maldives who offered a fabulous service from start to finish, even helping us with flight disruptions by having a backup plan so we didn't have to cancel. Truly fabulous all round.

We've been the second time at Jawakara and it was as fantastic as the first time 6 month ago. A great, clean, really outstanding resort. Such a kind staff with a special thanks to Sruthy, Mango, Lele, Anth and Subin just to mention a few of them. They all read our wishes from our lips and we miss them with their kind hospitality. In addition to this, the management is fantastic as well and really knows how to exceed expectations from their loyal guests. As a guest you really feel the spirit they have to make you happy and make you forget your daily business. If you are looking for awesome beaches, great food in all restaurants, a clean and modern environment combined with a very clean resort - This is the place to be. Period! We'll come come back in 2027, for sure. THANK YOU!

It was a amazing stay, I loved the Motoric activities like Jetski and Seabob. Gladly I was given the kind Anth. She was so kind , funny and welcoming and always took care of my orders . I whish my stay was longer so I can get a few more nice Dinners that she made nicer!!✌️🇲🇻

We stayed at a Mabin Water Villa and everything was absolutely perfect, from the warm hospitality to the high standards of cleanliness.
Mohamed, who took care of us throughout our stay, was extremely attentive to all our needs and always ready to help with any information or requests. His professionalism truly made a difference and made us feel very well taken care of.
If you are traveling as a family with a child, I would recommend avoiding overwater villas, as the currents can be quite strong. I had read about this in other reviews and initially thought it was exaggerated, since we are all strong swimmers — but it definitely isn’t. If you plan to swim or snorkel, I strongly recommend always using fins to better handle the currents.
We tried almost all the water sports and excursions (turtles, manta rays, dolphins), and I highly recommend every single one of them. They kept us fully engaged throughout our stay, and there was never a dull moment.
The à la carte restaurants are outstanding. My personal favorite was Hideout, where I had one of the best beef dishes I’ve ever eaten.
A useful tip for future guests: I highly recommend installing the Jawakara app before arriving. Log in as a future guest using your reservation number (if you don’t have it, you can simply email the hotel — as I did — and they usually respond within 24 hours). This allows you to book à la carte restaurants and activities in advance, avoiding any last-minute surprises or fully booked options during your stay.
The only slightly disappointing aspect was the condition of the bicycles, which could definitely use better maintenance. While the humidity and frequent guest usage likely play a role, some additional care and servicing would significantly improve the experience.
