Our only disappointment is that we booked 2 Beach Villa at a much higher price few days before we checked-in and when we asked if we could upgrade to Water Villa by paying the price difference we were turned down. The Hard Rock Hotel, Silver Sky King Room, was spacious and directly faced the sea. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hotel offered free bicycles, which was convenient for getting around. The breakfast selection was also quite varied and good.

A tranquil and picturesque island, the sunset at the Lighthouse Lounge Bar was absolutely stunning, the snorkeling experience was superb, and we encountered many sharks. But what surprised us most was the impeccable and meticulous service. The pick-up and drop-off times were perfectly arranged according to our itinerary, and there were also thoughtful services such as bed setup and snacks!

I was really looking forward to this trip, but the weather wasn't kind. It rained for three days straight, with not even a single sunny day. Even the water bungalows had bugs, so be careful. The drinking water was full of bugs overnight (the bottle cap was closed at night). I don't know how the bugs got in, so I just boiled the water afterwards. It was a bit of a shame.

The water villa with a pool that I stayed in was newly renovated and had relatively new facilities. The best thing about Baros Island is the excellent snorkeling environment! You can see all kinds of fish and swim with small sharks.

I was looking for a hotel to stay in Male, and there were 5-star reviews everywhere, including this one. It was absolutely wonderful! They met me, carried my suitcase, explained everything, offered me juice, and the room was excellent, everything was brand new! They even refunded me for not having breakfast. 5 stars!
