This hotel in Malé is a good choice for a layover. The airport pick-up and drop-off service is very convenient. However, the room is quite small. The value for money is decent, and it's relatively clean, but the shower and toilet areas aren't separated. Also, toothbrushes aren't provided in the room. It's a bit far from the fish market and city center, about a 1km walk, but it's very close to the airport

A tranquil and picturesque island, the sunset at the Lighthouse Lounge Bar was absolutely stunning, the snorkeling experience was superb, and we encountered many sharks. But what surprised us most was the impeccable and meticulous service. The pick-up and drop-off times were perfectly arranged according to our itinerary, and there were also thoughtful services such as bed setup and snacks!

I was really looking forward to this trip, but the weather wasn't kind. It rained for three days straight, with not even a single sunny day. Even the water bungalows had bugs, so be careful. The drinking water was full of bugs overnight (the bottle cap was closed at night). I don't know how the bugs got in, so I just boiled the water afterwards. It was a bit of a shame.

The water villa with a pool that I stayed in was newly renovated and had relatively new facilities. The best thing about Baros Island is the excellent snorkeling environment! You can see all kinds of fish and swim with small sharks.

We absolutely made the right choice for our Maldives vacation with the Baros Resort. The accommodations at Ersha Sanshui gave us the best experience. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was delicious and healthy. Best resort I’ve been to. From arrival to departure, our butler Shinta was so thoughtful and accommodating. ALL the staff from at Baros is so friendly and always has a smile on their face. Extremely polite and friendly. I showed up late, confused, and tired. The Octave crew went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met. Got me breakfast and back to the airport early the next morning to catch a ferry. Malé is tightly packed and very confusing, I wouldn't have made it without their help. Clean, professional, and affordable. Money well spent.

It was an OK stay. I only stayed for one night, nothing spectacular. I just need a bed that night because the immigration officer said the property I booked for that night is not accredited. The bathroom is located outside of my room but I was the only one using it. Quite a 10 to 15-minute walk to the jetty to get to Maafushi.

I was looking for a hotel to stay in Male, and there were 5-star reviews everywhere, including this one. It was absolutely wonderful! I have no idea why this property has such a low rating. It is a budget accommodation ffs. Rooms aren’t new, but clean, shower has good pressure and hot water, staff is smiling and helpful, speed of internet is enough for general use, like YouTube. I suspect that people hat choose this place are so poor that expect 5* hotel for this money. This is the cheapest in Male, this isn’t Thailand or Kuala Lumpur...

I have been there for lunches at their restuarant in the 3rd floor. Very efficent and clean. Tasty food. Chef is a Sri Lankan so you will find many sl curries in the buffet. Friendly and helpfull staff. Buffet prices start from mvr 85 at the time of review. Takeaway is an option too. They also have an ala carte menu with reasonable prices.
