This place seems to attract more families than couples. They have great programs for kids, so it would be a good spot if you're traveling with little ones.

Very good room and view, experience of a lifetime especially since it was a first time in the maldives for me with my friends, will definitely come back.

The only downside is the abundance of corals when entering the water. Everything else is of a good standard.

Our only disappointment is that we booked 2 Beach Villa at a much higher price few days before we checked-in and when we asked if we could upgrade to Water Villa by paying the price difference we were turned down

This was our third trip to the Maldives – and the first one with our eight-month-old son. Since we wanted to avoid a seaplane transfer because of the baby, we chose the Hard Rock Hotel, conveniently located close to Malé

The hotel has a large pool and a small artificial beach. The food at breakfast and dinner was good. The staff, especially during breakfast and dinner, were very friendly and helpful

This is a good business hotel, and also a great place to spend some time after you arrive in Male or before you catch your flight home

Due to the situation in the Middle East, we were forced to stay longer in the Maldives. For the first two nights, we stayed at a four-star hotel in Malé, but it cannot be compared to this hotel

Bigger than usual Male hotel but dated. Hotel is located very near airport. To travel to male, you will need free shuttle from hotel to airport and take a taxi to Male. Overall Service was good.

The Hulhule Hotel is very spacious, with beautiful grounds. Our room (suite) had a magnificent view and was very spacious and clean, considering the hotel has been open since 2002

Almost perfect, but the shower water was barely warm, making for a cold shower experience. The breakfast was delicious, and both the room and service were excellent

We are lucky enough to have come back to this resort for a second time, the resort is small compared to some islands which we like, I was lucky enough to have had two dives with the dive team who are just amazing, tom who guided me on the dives was so helpful and the rest of the dive time were also amazing, I also visited Lee the Chinese therapist who was amazing, a special shout out to the lovely...

Water villas are the best. Also the buffet is delicious with many options to choose from. The room service and overall cleanliness in the resort is also commendable.

It is a small beautiful island , cleaned and maintained to a highest standard. All inclusive option , breakfast , lunch and dinner had variety and was lovely. All staff were extremely polite and professional

The price and quality are in line. There's an underwater world, not great, but it's there. The waiters in the restaurant are good. you won't go hungry, but the seafood is limited

We had squid a couple of times, shrimp once, and small crabs three times, which are best avoided; you'll have a hard time dealing with them

Staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Our transfers from the resort was smooth and same for our transfers to the airport. We arrived at 12.30pm and left the hotel after 1pm the next day.

A transit hotel is just a transit hotel, you only need to sleep for one night and leave, so don't have too high expectations. The breakfast coffee at the hotel is pretty good.

Easy pick up from the airport and the hotel location is great. Nice hotel with all the needs and service is good and prompt. Good place to stay if you need a stopover before or after your resort

No sea view, except from the top small swimming pool. Service was great, with good English skills. Located in a busy street, but walk distance to most things

The service was fine, but the rooms were small and crowded together with no soundproofing. Since I couldn't return due to flight restrictions, I had to stay a day, so I decided to stay in a star-rated hotel

Soundproofing isn't great, and there's road construction right outside, plus a building being built next door. There's a Chinese restaurant right next door, which is convenient for meals

Lack flexibility in revising booking dates. They charged all without letting guests to revise the booking, despite our 5 days,of lengthy stay.

An absolutely perfect experience! The service was excellent, and they were always ready to help. The rooftop bar has an incredibly beautiful view, and we had a wonderful day staying here for one night as a stopover

Tip: don’t go for the 15th floor rooms specially if it’s under the rooftop bar if you’re a light-sleeper coz the often push and pull of tables and chairs are very audible to the room

All the facilities on the island are very new! Including the bedding and supplies in our room, they are all very new; the minibar is replenished free of charge every day and is very rich! This hotel is super close to the airport, just a 10-minute speedboat ride away. It just opened last year, so all the facilities are brand new. The breakfast and dinner buffets are quite generous

The staff is super enthusiastic and will proactively use translation software to communicate. There are also Chinese-speaking staff on the island, so there's absolutely no need to worry if your English isn't perfect

I stayed one night as a layover. Plus, they give you a $20 credit per person per night to spend on the island, which you can even use at the souvenir shop

The underwater world is absolutely breathtaking – so diverse, colorful, and fascinating. You see an incredible variety of marine life, and the reefs are just as stunning and dreamy as the island itself

A butler was assigned to me during my stay, and they spoke Japanese (apparently they couldn't read or write, so I translated into English via LINE) and made dinner and activity reservations

We paid for the teppanyaki experience. Alok, the chef, was outstanding. Our butler, Asfar, was very accommodating! The best restaurants were Saffron and Soyi for dinner, and Sangu for lunch

I was looking for a hotel with a water slide and booked it through Trip. My room was an overwater villa, with a slide that allowed me to jump into the ocean

All the way to the leaving the island where we were not only transferred back to the airport on a private speedboat, but greeted on the docks and walked all the way to security. The island is small, safe, and quiet

A tranquil and picturesque island, the sunset at the Lighthouse Lounge Bar was absolutely stunning, the snorkeling experience was superb, and we encountered many sharks

The drinking water was full of bugs overnight (the bottle cap was closed at night). I don't know how the bugs got in, so I just boiled the water afterwards

The food options are incredible. We even treated ourselves to a spa day and the spa was the nicest I have ever been to in the world. I could not recommend Baros and their staff enough

Upon arrival, the free shuttle was good. The room has 2 small windows which allow you to see sunrise. The breakfast was served at both outdoor and indoor area

While the amenities could be improved a bit more, in terms of overall quality, this is without a doubt one of the best places to stay in Hulhumalé

Having an extra half-day relaxing on a Maldives resort island is so important to us! The service was very warm and friendly; we didn't experience any discrimination (because people often say that some islands in the Maldives discriminate against Chinese tourists)
