The room was just the right size for two people, and the bathroom was clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. They even assisted with our luggage. We had a good dinner at the hotel

Best part is the location which is just across the road from the beach, making it easy to go for a swim in the sea. Great spot for a relaxing stay!

Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. Airport transfer is free, which was very convenient. The hotel can also call a taxi if you want to visit Malé

we have dinner at the hotel and the spaghetti is delicious. Breakfast in next morning is good, toast and coffee is my favor.

All the staff was excellent like Abhishek from Reception and Arfas from Breakfast

Hotels in Male are similar, this one is newly renovated, but the surrounding environment is not very good

Excellent and friendly people work here. On the ground floor there is a delicious cafe, upstairs there is a hotel. The beach is 20 steps away, cross the road. Nearby there are shops and fruit stalls.

The hotel's location and views are fantastic. The room was clean and had plenty of hot water, but unfortunately, there was no balcony.

I had a few difficulties with the wifi but it always worked in lobby. The television signal went off, but eventually repaired. Staff in all areas were very pleasant and very helpful. Lovely location. Much appreciated.

The best thing for me it was quiet, there is no construction noise or loud music ( my room was on the second floor) so I was able to sleep well. There is hot water but the pressure is quite week

The room was quite good, looked modern and clean, but there was a lot of hair in the bathroom drain and it smelled terribly of sewage. There is a lit of space to store clothes and luggage

There is an iron and even an ironing board in the room, wow:) the staff at the reception are professional and friendly and speak English well. I got help with my suitcase as there is no elevator only narrow stairs

30 am the receptionist stated that no rooms are available but eventually I was given a room

But the absolute worst part was the mattress! It was incredibly hard, like a wooden board, springy, and squeaky. Despite all that, we were so exhausted from our long journey that we still managed to fall asleep

The breakfast was standard and simple: eggs, sausages, beans, toast, butter, and for fruit, watermelon and oranges. However, the room itself felt a bit tired, and the ceiling fan was dirty

The sea view water house is very large and the restaurant on the island is also good

The housekeeper Sue is very considerate and smiling. The hotel room I chose has direct access to the sea, and the sea is super clear. In addition, the hotel and the housekeeper were very thoughtful in their arrangements

Knowing that it was my wife and I's wedding anniversary, they arranged a cake and decorations, which was very thoughtful. The hotel offers many activities, such as snorkeling and fashion shows

The housekeeper Sue provided great service. We found the counter staff at the airport to lead us to the pier, and then took a speedboat for about half an hour to reach the island

Lovely new hotel! Very fashionable design and clean. I can see the stingray sometimes nearby my villa. Better to choose ocean room instead of lagoon as it faces male and it’s quiet bright at night

I loved the place! Close to the beach and the room was clean too. Unfortunately, there weren’t any oral supplies in the washroom. Also, the food on the rooftop was not that delicious

Really loved it! We stayed in a water villa with direct access to the sea. There are three restaurants, all very good, but I wasn't a fan of the Indian food – it just didn't hit the spot for me

There are also many recreational activities on the island, and a medical clinic where my friend got medicine without paying—the doctor was so beautiful! I would definitely choose this island again for my next trip!

The food was delicious with many choices; I didn't experience the frustration of not being able to eat and having to eat instant noodles, as some online reviews mentioned

It's a transit hotel, so don't expect too much, but it's quite new, and the staff are all very helpful. They offer free airport shuttle service both ways

The pastries were a bit dry compared to others on the island and tended to crumble, but the bread was toasted perfectly and tasted delicious

If you have time, you can explore Malé city before heading to the island, where everything at the resorts can be quite pricey

Furthermore, there is no hot water for shower, towels with stains, the window in toilet was opened which was unable to close. No hair dryer provided until you ask them to send

They have a cute terrace upstairs. The staff is so friendly and nice you just want to hang out with them. The breakfast was amazing- clean and nice presentation with enough fresh items on our plates

We stayed at Hive Beach on the 31st of January, the staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, which immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for

It is said that the overnight hotels in Male are quite average, but this hotel is quite OK. We booked a sea view family suite with two beds, one 1. 5, which is enough for four people to sleep

Nice Experience at Sunny Canopy and the package worth the price, but you can also book a private island while lodging there, good customer service specifically Sajjad From Bangladesh and Zubair from Pakistan these guys are great I will recommend you to book the hotel and also recommend the management to take care of these guys

This was a very comfortable stay   The bed was super comfortable. The the AC unit was away from the bed so the airflow was excellent

After leaving the pier, walk 2 minutes to the hotel. It seems that you can also take a ferry from the airport to Male, and then take a ferry from Male to this island. But I haven't done this, I took a taxi

An excellent hotel, located practically right on the beach. The service is excellent, the rooms are clean, spacious, and cozy

The location of the hotel is perfect which is a short distance from the ferry terminal and the public beach is easily accessible. We got up early to watch the beautiful sunrise on Easter Day

They pay attention to what you like and remember if you get something specific. Super friendly and thoughtful. No ventilation in bathroom and some minor mainteenance issues. Beds and pillows and comfortable

Very helpful and friendly staff who respond to email enquires very promptly! You have a choice for breakfast, either at the lobby or walk to the ocean front in a min and enjoy the good seaview when having delicious breakfast which has a good spread and fresh too

It was absolutely wonderful! They met me, carried my suitcase, explained everything, offered me juice, and the room was excellent, everything was brand new! They even refunded me for not having breakfast

In the city of Male, it is a good choice to walk around and experience the local customs. It has a kitchen and a living room, but I don't use them. I can't cook.

The environment in Male is really not good

The service is very good, the room is a bit small, the breakfast is also good, the location is a bit hard to find, the driver took a nap on the street for a long time, and provided pick-up service, but it costs money, which is more expensive than the taxi I took from the airport

The hotel is quite comfortable, in the very center. Only in 5 days they never removed the garbage... They didn't change the towels... Perhaps it's like this everywhere here!? But otherwise everything is quite good

It’s a small hotel but very clean and great for short stay.  Service is excellent  The beach is just in front of the hotel.  Nearby in the water, there is a like a barricaded pool in the sea.

I had an amazing three week stay here. The price is fair, the breakfast was delicious but most importantly, the staff was the best

We loved our stay in this hotel! The staff waited for us in port to transfer us to hotel. Rooms are big, comfortable and sunny. Location is great, near bikini beach, restaurants, souvenir shops

Unfortunately I don't remember everyones' name, Monir from Bangladesh and Sam from Sri Lanka were some of the memorable ones but honestly everyone made me feel so at home

Not only that, but the location is central to everything, in about five minutes you're at Bikini Beach, and then you are so close to various restaurants

Maakanaa Lodge, Hulhumalé is situated in a convenient location and it is close to all local amenities. I love the clean, modern style rooms with good facilities and really enjoyed the warm hospitality

We stayed here for a night before our flight to a resort and it was just great! A representative from Simry actually picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel, so that was a nice perk not to have to worry about transportation :) The bed was super soft and comfortable, and the staff were really kind

The rooms are bit dingy but clean. The hotel staff are very helpful. That made up for minor hiccups, such as: the room locker not working and the hand shower making an awkward noise while being used

They even prepared the (very delicious) breakfast buffet early for us because our flight to the resort was at 7 AM! Thanks so much!

Near to the beach. Room is acceptable, but toilet a bit small. Bad sound insolution, you can hear the voice from street clearly. Simple breakfast provided. Nice view from the restaurant on top floor.
