Hotels in Male

The hotel is under totally new management since two months ago. It's now called NOOVILA GRAND. The new manager Vivian is very helpful. The hotel is clean and well positioned next to the beach. Don't let the negative reviews stop you from staying here!

Although sadly we were not able to stay due to an issue with Agoda and their booking, the hotel and staff, especially the manager (I'm so ashamed I forgot to ask his name), were very kind and considerate despite Eleven Trees being fully booked. He called and sorted the issue with Agoda and even found us another place to stay when we were a bit unlucky finding other accommodations. I cannot say enough...

After an awful experience at Male airport which led us to being unable to board the plane, my wife and I were disappointed that we had to extend our stay. However the experience and handling with Eleventrees staff and their manager Ahmed we were thrilled to have stayed at this newly built establishment. The rooms are very clean and even have balconies which overlook the beautiful ocean(plenty of cafes...

Very affordable prices.. Manager and staff members are very friendly and polite in nature.. Clean rooms .. Near the beach.. Near the market.. It was very good experience ..I would recommend you all to stay there..

The inn is just infront of the beach. A nice cozy place to stay at. It's at a local island not a private one which makes it fun thus interacting with locals and understanding their lifestyle. The Inn serves breakfast every morning and also has a menu for main courses. Apart from this the Inn had several restaurants and cafes all round.

Iberry Inn is a very nice budget hotel, and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. You can have easy beach access from there. Also, you can hang around Hulhumale island by walking from there very easily. Highly recommended for budget travelers. The location and area very clean and the Iberry restaurant attached to the hotel serve all local and international food also.

Great deals on room, best a/c I've had in the Maldives, close to the water with beach access everywhere, staff were super helpful and friendly. Couldn't have had a better first night in the Maldives. Would definitely stay with them again!

The rooms are big enough and clean. There is a small fridge in the room. Wifi is free and while sometimes connection is a little spotty it is generally sufficient to watch Netflix or Youtube in reasonable quality. Friendly and helpful staff. I had some issues with getting hot water, but that was fixed quickly. Only real downside was that the bathroom window did not fully close, allowing mosquitoes...

Rooms are clean and furniture also looks new although the room is quite small. Suitable for backpackers stay. Staff are friendly and shows good hospitality. There is no elevator however and the staircase is a bit narrow.

My family and I went to Embudu Village and had the absolute best time! So many fun opportunities and activities for us to do. Thanks to the diving school team who took us out to Stingray City, where we swam with stingrays and reef sharks and on the Turtle snorkelling too, (the coolest experience ever). The resort was very well maintained, delicious buffet styled food and every night is a different...

I stayed here specifically for diving. The biggest draws of this resort are its rich house reef and the ability to self-dive 24/7, as much as you like. After completing the mandatory check dive (note: it's only once a day at 10:30 AM), you're free to self-dive whenever you want, or join the boat dives held every morning and afternoon. The island scenery is beautiful, and you often see stingrays and crabs, with an occasional eel swimming by the shore. When you arrive on the island, a porter helps with your luggage, and you're greeted with welcome juice upon check-in. The overall cost on the island is decent, not as expensive as rumored online, and generally affordable. However, some activities are a bit difficult to book.

Nice stay at Embudu Village - the island is lovely with good beaches, enough space not to feel crowded, and amazing wildlife in the water - I saw plenty of sharks, a turtle, lots of parrotfish, clownfish, clams, and an octopus during my week at the resort! Let’s start with the positives: the house reef is beautiful, full of colorful fish and rich marine life, perfect for snorkeling. It’s also very convenient to reach, just 20 minutes by boat from Malé, and the transfer is smooth and well organized. However, the resort feels very old and poorly maintained. We were upgraded to a water villa, but the bathrooms were in bad condition and we had cockroaches...

Highly recommend, clean rooms, super sweet staff who were so accommodating - they prepared breakfast for us earlier than opening time so we could go morning diving, and let us come back a shower post dives - so kind!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Nala Island Village. The rooms was super clean and had all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfy and the linens and towels clean and not stained at all and large bathroom. What stand out to us was the excellent service from anyone working there, they assist us with everything. They gave us an adapter, they gave us a room to change prior to check in time as we arrived...

It's a cozy place with really warmth hospitality. The staff are really friendly & helpful. Small place hence not crowded & it gives you a bit privacy compared to the usual big & popular hotels.

We had a very fun time in this cuteful airbnb!!! 🥥ROOM CONDITION AND CLEANLINESS🥥 - simple and minimalistic interior, the whole apartment is cozy and aesthetically pleasing; you can get amazing photos on the front door  - the room itself is basic, but clean. However, some tiles in our room is broken and you could get hurt if you don't walk carefully 🥥LOCATION🥥 - it's just a few minutes walk away...

We had a really pleasant couple’s stay for three nights. Both the owner and the staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, from the pickup to the activities and even the return trip to the ferry. The rooms were very clean, they changed the towels, the bathroom was great, and the location was perfect, close to restaurants, the beach, everything!!! Thank you very much.

Very noisy place, can’t relax always phone rings, vehicles sound, people taking and spitting sounds. Not able to sleep properly. Safety seems neglected sliding door locks are broken in our room.

I arrived early and was greeted with a glass of juice. Overall, the room was okay for the price.

It was pretty good back then, but if they don't provide pick-up and drop-off, they should have indicated that, and they contacted for half a day.

The room is not big, the bedding is clean, it has air conditioning and a fan, and the bathroom shower only has half a glass door. Stayed overnight for transition. Breakfast is very simple, just a few slices of bread, an egg, and a cup of coffee. No toiletries, no slippers.

Fantastic oasis in Male city! Boutique style rooms with comfortable four poster bed, with high quality linens and towels. Attached restaurant is definitely the best Thai in Maldives with a large repeater business due to the quality! Nice stay prior to our morning flight. Airport transfer was via taxi and was included in the rate. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous, better than the fancy resort we had just come from. Thomas, the owner of the hotel, was personable and friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful rooms, excellent service. Great breakfast and wonderful Thai restaurant. It’s a little off the main streets, which makes it a little challenging to find at first, but also quieter. Window but no view as it’s a low building in a sea of tall ones.

We stayed at here for 2 nights before getting on a diving Liveaboard. Rose was outstanding helping me with my need for gluten free meals! The room was a respite from the hot weather. Beautiful and spacious rooms. If you have to stay in Male this is the place.

We loved our stopover stay at Sala. Great communication ahead of the stay; met at the airport and taxi provided to take us straight to the hotel. Super-friendly welcome, comfortable air-con room.
