Had an absolutely wonderful stay. If your after a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to be. The food is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Wonderful views from the beach and restaurant. Can snorkel in the hotels private reef from the beach. To any comments about being excessive wildlife, remember this is a tropical island not the city centre.

This is such a beautiful place and I loved everything about it. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They were always willing to help and with a big smile. The meals were also amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and a fantastic view of the ocean. I would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius. The Astroea Beach, I'll be back soon 👏

Amazing views from our room. Seems like all rooms have Ocean views. The reef is just outside your room and the water is crystal clear, great hotel if you want to snorkel a lot.

First: the location and the private beach are amazing!
BUT: The price is definitely not worth what you get for the rooms. Basically the whole place needs refurbishment. In the room the shower and windows are dirty, floor is broken, doors are broken. It is def a nice place to come to just because of location, but for this price the rooms are unfortunately a no go.

Exactly what we needed. After 24hrs of flying, Astroea was the perfect stop for 3 days. Staff were lovely, room was good, food was great and the beach/views were stunning.

It was pretty place
But cleaning standard is not in high, floor is like outside floor but no slippers serviced.
Neighborhood is very calm and no restaurants near there, everything has to be managed in the hotel
Or you can go walk 25mins to Blue bay to find supermarket and some small shops
Good for ppl who are looking for calm and peaceful ambiences

Strategically located accommodation. Food is not that great! but the locality is good for peace lover. WiFi signal is not that great but the staff are the best when it comes to offering service. I really appreciate their courtesy to offer me an accommodation after my check-out. Took a nice nap and shower before heading to Airport. The location is a big plus in case you wish to avoid the traffic.
