It was ok but airplane noise is irritating. There are not wery mutch services around (restorant or shop)

We stayed at Explora Prestige for two nights on a half-board basis, from 31 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations. From the very first day until the end of our stay, Explora Prestige completely won our hearts. The atmosphere was welcoming and comforting, giving us a genuine “feel at home” experience. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the quality of service was excellent throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Jefferson and his father Hans, whose kindness, professionalism, and personal attention made our New Year stay truly memorable. Their dedication and warmth made a real difference and left a lasting impression on us. We highly recommend Explora Prestige to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay with outstanding hospitality. We would be delighted to return. KMXT

This could be a fantastic place. The owners very pleasant. The chef was very accommodating. The food was excellent. The main room can be upgraded to a beautiful finish. Issues are not addressed effectively. The staff team was pleasant enough but Staff seems to talk more amongst themselves than looking after clients needs. Noise from airplane flying low but this did not bother us. Bathroom nice and clean but poor lighting. We asked for hand towels and had to ask again after 6 hours. Checking was 2 pm but could not checking until 3pm. Room was not ready. Complementory coffee and juice given while we waited. Bed and breakfast only. Meals not included as per booking methods. Parking on the road outside full most of the day however we parked inside the gates of the guesthouse which was good. There were fresh fruits in the room which was generous. Room was given a quick clean as stated.

The staff are amazing.
The proximity to blue bay beach was ideal. Nice to hear the sea, except when the plane's fly. (Directly under the flight path)
Rooms were not very clean.
Meals were hit and miss - lots of microwave beeps, but mostly a hit.
Parking is a bit tricky.

We had a one stay with the half board package . Staff was fairly nice and they have an excellent location however there were cockroaches in the room and spiders in the shower and the towels were stained . It was noisy at night but that’s also because the airport is a few minutes away .The breakfast was ok but not too many options. Overall it was an ok stay for one night but they could improve a lot .

I çame here for dinner. Whth low quality high priced food. They only serve one entree a day and it was GROSS. Some egg and beef dish. Appetizer was GROSS. Was suppose to be ceviche but it was white bread and potato with a gram of fish Disgusting.ice cream and canned fruit For three course meal was 1500 rupees. Tasted like it should cost 25 rupees.Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic place to stay. The stuff is very nice and helpful. We had the deluxe double room with sea view and it's amazing. Very specious room and it is 10x cleaner and better maintained than other 3 star "resorts" that we have stayed in Mauritius on this trip. The location is very nice. Close to many attractions if you have a rental car, the beach closer to the hotel is very nice and the 1h snorkeling boat trip from a nearby beach is very beautiful and highly recommended. I would come back here for a longer stay.

Located in a gated community, this place has a number of nice features. Maintenance is, however, lacking in a number of areas. Shower door was missing, and using the kettle required unplugging the fridge or light. Water pressure was quite low at times. Locks and handles on many things didn't work or were missing. Basic cleaning was decent, no complaints. Except for areas of wear. The outside of the door had been partially painted but the inside was grimy from years of use. Service was friendly but sometimes lacked critical information. Yes, you can get dinner, when the chef is working, but you need to reserve before 3pm. That little tidbit about 3pm had not been communicated. Location is great for being so close (50m) to the beach. Do note, the hotel is directly under the take-off path of the main airport. I didn't have an issue with this as it isn't a major hub. Breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from including fruits, breads, pancakes (european style) and a tasty omelette. The courtyard with pool is a relaxing place between flights.

Beautiful accommodation in Mauritius, very friendly and helpful staff here, the beach near by is absolutely perfect and usually quite quiet, I recommend this location, it had adequate facilities for our stay and the room was spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was very interesting but delicious.
