I stayed at Holiday Inn Mauritius Mon Trésor for one night as a transit stay before an early morning flight after my main stay in South Mauritius. For that purpose, the hotel works perfectly.
The biggest advantage is the complimentary airport shuttle service, which makes transfers extremely convenient. The airport is just a 5-minute drive away, making it stress-free for early departures.
The room was clean, tidy, and equipped with all the essential facilities required for a short stay. One small point to note is that the washrooms do not have a water jet, so guests who are not comfortable using only toilet paper may want to carry a portable option.
There isn’t much to explore around the hotel due to its airport location, but you can quickly head to the airport area for quick bites like Subway or pizza outlets. The hotel also has a small swimming pool for guests who wish to relax.
A thoughtful touch was that the staff set up the room specially, as they were aware it was part of our honeymoon trip, which we appreciated.

A good location near the airport.

Convenient location as close to the airport and hotel offers a shuttle bus service. However, the immediate area is a little bit Remote. For example there were no shops within walking distance.
Staff also very friendly and helpful. I needed to get to a pharmacy and the shuttle bus driver was kind enough to take me to one. Now the less good points.
The checking in process was very slow as there was only one person checking in arrivals. Our room was very basic, which was ok for us as we were only going to stay for one day.
The room had a wet room open shower. Unfortunately, this meant water went everywhere and to make matters worse, there was a separate water leak so the floor area got very wet.

Room was clean and the front desk staff was nice and welcoming and also responsive to small requests we had like topping up the coffee and sugar sachets etc. We did not try the food. Location is very convenient for 1st day or last day of stay in Mauritius as it is just 1 km from the airport.

This hotel was an absolute must since, in case of early flight, it will spare you the long and perilous road trip by night and the uncertainties related with taxi ordering. As regards the hotel itself easy access by car, close by parking and access ramp for disabled persons and rolling luggages. Very service able staff, although some times, the bar and restaurant orders are slow to be elaborated/delivered. Very nice and clean swimming pool , large and with a lot of resting chairs . The rooms are comfortable and well equipped (form memory mattresses, air con, curtains, coffee and tea) , maybe the decoration is the less strong point. In room 154 we had a very large 🛁 bathtub aimed for giants of 2m or more ! Easily fits 2 persons. I can see some other advice mentioning unpleasant noise caused by other guests. Maybe the suggestion would be to book you room as far as possible from lobby (which coincidentally was the case for us with that room which happens to be the last one first floor at the very end of a long doorway). Restaurant card is quite exhaustive in terms of Maurice specialitiesalthough we just had classic Beef Burger and Chicken skewer. In terms of prices price is justified for a hotel so conveniently located at less than 1km from Sir Seewosagur airport international terminal. BTW a very convenient and climatised van makes shuttle service to and from that terminal . Very recommended hotel venue which will earn you fidelity points with the house group program. Will come again for sure.

The hotel is right across from the beach, and you can see the sea from the balcony. I fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.
