Le Peninsula Bay Beach Resort & Spa in Blue Bay

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding an incident in which I was falsely accused of harassment and subsequently threatened with police involvement by management, despite no inappropriate conduct on my part.

During the incident in question, my only interaction with a guest consisted of a brief, respectful compliment regarding her tattoo. There was no further conversation, no persistence, no physical proximity, no inappropriate language, and no indication from the guest that the comment was unwelcome. At no point did the guest express discomfort or make a complaint to me.

Despite this, management escalated the situation in an unprofessional and deeply troubling manner by labeling my conduct as “harassment,” publicly positioning me as the problem, and threatening to involve law enforcement. This accusation is false, defamatory in nature, and entirely disproportionate to the facts of what occurred.

I find it unacceptable that a harmless, respectful comment was distorted into an allegation of harassment without evidence, investigation, or confirmation from the guest herself. Even more concerning is the decision to threaten police action, which created an intimidating and hostile environment and caused unnecessary distress.

This incident reflects a serious failure in judgment, conflict handling, and basic professionalism. Making unfounded accusations of harassment carries real reputational and legal consequences, and such claims should never be made lightly or weaponized to deflect responsibility or assert authority.

I am requesting the following:
1. A formal review of the incident, including a clear explanation of how my conduct constituted harassment.
2. Written clarification of the establishment’s policy regarding guest interaction and compliments.
3. A written retraction or correction of the false accusation made against me.
4. Assurance that threats of police involvement will not be used irresponsibly or without proper cause in the future.

I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed promptly. I will be keeping a record of this complaint and all related correspondence.

This situation could have been handled calmly and professionally. Instead, it was escalated unnecessarily, damaging trust and exposing serious flaws in management conduct.

Manager Reghoo - should Be fired

The hotel's location is relatively ideal, but the facilities are outdated. The air conditioner has no cooling or dehumidifying effect at all, the bathroom floor drain is clogged, and the swimming pool water is visibly murky.

I have stayed at many star-rated hotels around the world, and among hotels in the same price range, this one offers the worst experience. Most staff members have a poor attitude—some even wear unfriendly expressions—and are unwilling to assist you. When checking in, the staff who help with luggage only pick the easiest ones to carry. After checking out, I booked a taxi with the front desk, but no one informed me when the taxi arrived; the driver waited at the car door for an unknown amount of time. The bellboy saw us about to leave, left his post in advance, and showed no intention of helping.
