Holiday Inn Select - Guadalajara by IHG in Guadalajara

No mini bar in the room and the ice maker in the floor is not working, everytime i have to go downstairs to get ice, also the stupid tv is useless, you cant connect your phone and also no youtube or anything just couple of stupid channels

other than this all good and people are friendly

Parking cost money when other holiday inns are free. We went to eat something around 12 and they make you eat expensive meals, they don’t offer basic breakfast or even coffee. The waitress was rude and even took a long time to take our order. Another waiter had to come and replace her without any notice. Not a good experience in general.

This was my first trip after having a baby, and I was really looking forward to it—but our experience was awful. We waited over 3 hours for a room we had reserved months in advance. The staff was dismissive and unhelpful, and the lobby was hot and filled with strong paint fumes from renovations. During our long wait, no one offered us water, updates, or any basic hospitality.

We were eventually downgraded to a different room with no real apology, and then charged for a breakfast that was supposed to be included. IHG Guest Relations offered points, but refused a refund—nowhere near enough to make up for the stress and poor service.

Truly disappointing experience at what should have been a reliable hotel.
