I don’t know how this is a 4 star hotel. The beds are rock hard, I was tossing and turning all night. The room is small, I wouldn’t say the hotel is dirty, but it’s definitely not 4 star clean. I am so disappointed and I feel so deceived by the reviews and pictures posted. I am better off sleeping on the floor, that’s how terrible the beds are. I did not rest at all sleeping here. The service was good. The staff was kind, but I’ll never come here again. You would think because you are staying at the centro histórico you are staying in a clean, nice area, but the streets are dirty, trash and graffiti everywhere, it smells like urine, no restaurants, just dominos, and everything closes early.

Extremely overpriced for the quality provided. The staff was unable to communicate in English. There are much nicer hotels just a few blocks away for a significantly lower price. I do not recommend this place.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Guadalajara, Mexico! Very friendly and warm staff who strive to make your stay 110 percent! Rooftop pool, sitting areas inside and out, incredible views overlooking Plaza de Dos Templos!

Hotel Santiago de Compostela is an incredible place to stay in Guadalajara. The location is absolutely perfect — close to the city center, making it easy to walk to major attractions, restaurants, and cultural sites.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single person I interacted with was responsive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure my trip was enjoyable. They go beyond basic customer service and really make you feel cared for as a guest.
The excursions offered through the hotel were also fantastic and fun. It made exploring the area easy and stress free.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guadalajara.

I was on a business trip there and chose this hotel in the city center. The location was great. The hotel building was very old and had no exterior windows, only interior windows, which is typical for the city.

On the edge of the small square, within 5 minutes there is Hualong Chinese Restaurant, which is very good. The environment is also very good. The hotel itself is also good.

Restaurante el mas asqueroso de la ciudad, además el buffet esta vacillo, aquí fotos del buffet que avemos encontrado. Worst place on earth, and empty buffet. Only a few overcook bones at 8 pm, their excuse was we're closing in a few hours so we won't refill it. What was left was obviously some leftovers from lunch.
