I stayed here again and everything was good. Wifi works this time 😝

(Stay in 2024)
I book the hotel through the marriott app and chatted with the reception to tell her of my requests before arrival.

So upon arrival, checking in was smooth and quick. The receptions are well verse in english, so that makes communication really easy.

I totally love the curvy layout of the building and room, as well as the modern and cosy ambience of the room. I stayed at room 1201.

The room has everything of a standard hotel room, from safebox, workdesk, fridge, armchair. The bed and comforter was really comfy and I love the city view outside.

However the floor is abit sticky, the showerhead is leaking water, and the wifi couldn't work throughout my stay (even after I ask for help from the reception).

The Hotel buffet breakfast choice is quite limited and I feel its not worth for the price.

Location wise, I still need to cab for more than 15minutes to get to anywhere. But its definitely better than the airport hotel 🤣

Overall is decent, and what stood out for me its the room design, as well as the friendly and approachable receptions.

The hotel provides a fridge and kettle. The hotel is just yards away from several bus routes that will take you to the Renfe train station, sightseeing and shopping. It is about 500 meters to the Palacio del Infantado and a bit further the Cathedral, parks and historic area. The museum of Guadajara is not to be missed. AC hotel is a good base for visiting Siguenza and Alcala de Henares via train.

This process can only be done 10 days after checkout.
I would not recommend this hotel if you are busy and don't have time to do such a process.

Functional hotel that provided a clean place to sleep with a comfortable bed and decent shower. Morning breakfast was included in the rate and that was a nice touch. The location is a bit dated but I like the architecture of the building. Not a bad place to sleep in GDL.

I'm not happy to give an AC Marriott three stars. The biggest offender is that it is not to par with AC Marriotts around the world. I've always had flawless experiences. This one has non working wi fi and no urgency to fix it (I was never contacted about my message on how to fix it).
If the hotel can not respond to Bonvoy app messages, then turn it off or set auto reply to contact front desk.
My limited experience is that apartments hotels etc in a circular building, suffer somewhere. This is the case here with the toilet and sink in the room. They have to do a corner design that wastes space or limits movement. A small far tv also was not good. Bed, room work space, power outlets, ac, and spacious bedroom w fridge were good.
Nice lounge, too. You have good potential, but I was here for work, and no wifi on laptops soured my working plan.
Good thing I only stayed one night. I will choose another Bonvoy location next time.

I initially booked a room at a different hotel nearby (La Mansion del Sol) but ended up moving here after an employee at the other hotel tried to assault me. My interactions with staff at the AC Marriott were all overwhelmingly positive, and they are very pet friendly! Only subtracted a star because the Google page shows they have a pool, and they do not. As a monolingual English-speaking woman traveling solo, I felt safe here, which was not the case at other establishments in the area.

No AC
No ac, only heating. 27 degrees out and the whole building had to be set to “cool” as it was set to hot. Rooms were unbearably hot.

The service is awful. They took like 1 hr. to bring us the food even when the restaurant was almost empty. Also the check take way too much time... The food also, even when it was tasty the presentation and the size of the portion is lower than what I expected.
