If you got a party of 15+ people, do not rely on the menu orders to come out in time, in fact - they wont and delays are long. Do not suggest menus for a big party. Food is ok, atmosphere is excellent.

Amazing location, traditional food on the average quality that can be found in town. Definitely worth for the place. On the food the rabbit stew was worth to try. Salads and soups fine, although with some space for improving - the Soleanka was a bit fatty for my taste.

One of the very few Hotels located in this part of the Chisinau yet no more than 10 minutes from the center by bus. If you have heavy bags, there is no lift but the helpful staff offered to carry them.

It's a 3 stars hotel only and in Chisinau, so I was not expecting much. When I arrived I asked to see the room before i book it. This hotel is OK. The room and bar area was clean and I was offered a free glass of wine which was very enjoyable. What they don't tell you is that reception is on the 4th floor and there are no lifts in the building, so you have to carry bags up anywhere from 1 to 5 levels. There is also no food available in the evenings, but several restaurants are within 10 mins walk.

Nice small hotel in the more north of the city. Easy access to trolley buses nearby so very easy to get to the city center. Very comfortable bed and very good AC! Also they offer one glass of wine for free once a day. I can recommend this place!

We usually come to Shadow just to swim and sunbathe, so I cannot say anything about the rooms as we don't stay over the night. Administration of the hotel is super friendly and helpful. Positive. Strange address, but if you come by car, it doesn't matter much. There were some little issues with using the swimming pool, but in the end I could go and enjoy it all by myself, which was awesome. The room and the bed were just perfect. If I am not mistaken the only 3 hotel chain options in Chisinau are Courtyard, Radisson Blu, and this MGallery. We chose the latter for our stay. We had a great weekend in Chisinau and loved staying at Hotel Plai. The hotel is recently renovated and the rooms are clean and stylish. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. We also found the location very convenient and we could easily walk to lots of places in the city. Stayed at hotel Plai for 3 nights with a friend and really enjoyed it. It's easy to locate and about a 15 minute walk to the main strip. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and always really busy and the coffee shop next door was great , there is also a fairly big super market down the street. The room was clean and comfortable and check in was easy and quick. I would definitely return here

Very big rooms, with everything you would need. The hotel is a little bit far from the centre but not too bad, perhaps a 20 minute walk! There is not much around the hotel, always best to walk into the centre and visit the shops and restaurants there. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on that!

Staff were absolutely lovely, and let me check in very early and even arranged a taxi to the airport the next morning (which is about 100 lei for anyone wondering), and they were very happy and polite with good English skills. This place once being the top soviet hotel is now old and shabby, and that's the reason I liked to stay there: For the truly soviet experience! Everything may look old but nothing is broken. AC works, beds were very comfortable, room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Though don't expect too much from the breakfast as it is very basic and served cold. Enjoyed my stay alot.

Rooms were okay for sleeping. Pick this hotel if you want to have a real Soviet experience. Also the reception were amazing! They called us a taxi for a local winery and even called again to get the tour earlier in order for us to be able to make our train!

If you come from the West and are curious about how Soviet hotels felt like, this is the place. And it doesn't mean it's bad; it just ain't the Radisson! The rooms are clean, the linen of good quality cotton, the breakfast is very good if you know what to choose or ask for and the staff is the kindest and most helpful you could dream of. The location is great. And finally, it is dirt cheap!

Small hotel situated near the market and city centre. The rooms are comfortable with a small bathroom. The breakfast is basic but good with enough quantity. We were there in June so could sit comfortably at the outside bar. Reception staff were helpful with arranging taxis and providing advice on the city.

The location was good for us. They have parking spots right outside and are monitored by CCTV 24/7. Rooms are clean and spaceous enough. They do need a bit of a remodel. Views are horrible, especially to the back of the building. If courtains aren't used other people may freely look in your room. Breakfast is nice. There is a terrace outside.

Visited almost month ago, well maintained hotel, clean rooms, comfy beds, very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I just didn't like the breakfast that much, there was just one person from staff that was too busy, we needed to wait longer for coffee that was not even good, food was ok but sometimes cold, sometimes missing. But overall price is very reasonable, location very good.

Flat with the advantages of hotel reception and assistance. Near station but fair way to centre. Washing machine and good shower to keep all clean. Balcony for smokers (not me). Organised a lady to take keys and book me an economy taxi to the bus station on the weekend. Appreciate that. Highly recommended.

Not a hotel, but a facility like a rental room. There is no front desk. Housekeeping is provided approximately once every three days. There is no laundry service. On the other hand, the rooms are spacious and the furnishings are of good quality.

Family B&B, Poor hygiene, hair on the sheets, There is a smell in the room, The facilities are old and backward, Not a traditional hotel. The experience is not very good. The location is OK, after all, the country is not big. You can take the No. 30 bus from the airport, which requires a ten-minute walk, and the road conditions are poor.

You get nice rooms for a reasonable price. The location might scare you on the map but in reality it saves you from a lot of traffic jams so you end up with a better connection then the hotels in center. The inside is cozy and stuff is trained properly. Fluent in English and helpful at your needs.

Very good value The staff were amazing 10/10 the first two nights were super quiet you wouldn't believe your in a city. Unfortunately there was no hot water for 3 nights I did raise it but it wasn't fixed, I sat by the pool but it wasn't that enjoyable as kids were shouting and throwing a ball into the furniture. also there are no blinds or curtains so you wake up when the sun's out
