Komilfo Hotel in Chisinau

I had a very disappointing experience with this booking.

I made my reservation months in advance and received confirmation, which gave me confidence in my travel plans. However, at the last minute, my original reservation was cancelled without proper justification. Instead, I was redirected to an alternative hotel, which created inconvenience and uncertainty.

That said, I would like to note that the alternative hotel I stayed in did not cause any issues, and the stay itself was smooth.

What made the situation worse was what happened afterward. The reservation was later marked as cancelled in the system, which prevented me from receiving any rewards/points associated with the booking. This feels unfair, as the cancellation was not initiated by me but by the provider.

In my communication with customer support, I explained that:
- The booking had been confirmed long in advance.
- The change and cancellation were not my decision.
- I still completed my stay through the alternative arrangement.

Despite this, the issue with the rewards was not resolved satisfactorily.

Overall, while the alternative accommodation helped mitigate the immediate problem, the handling of the reservation status and the loss of earned benefits reflect poor customer experience and lack of accountability.

I hope this feedback helps improve transparency and fairness for future customers.
