Hotel Maris in Ulcinj

Our experience at this hotel was fantastic. Flaka and Orges was incredibly attentive and accommodating, ensuring all our needs were met. The room was spotless and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which made our outings very convenient. Overall, a clean and comfortable place with excellent service. Highly recommended!

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Maris, and I believe the other reviews given by people regarding the construction of the beach are completely unwarranted and unfair. A very bad storm had passed through a couple weeks prior to our stay which washed away the bridge/jetty, which is clearly out of their control.
The staff were so kind and accomodating, the room views were exceptional and the access to the beach was perfect for our trip. Ulcinj old town was right next door and perfect for late night dinner, which added to how great the location was.

Stayed at Maris Hotel in Ulcinj from 27 June to 06 July. We initially planned to stay for 6 days, but ended up extending to 10 because the kids loved it so much! The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, the beach was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A truly relaxing and family-friendly place. Highly recommended!

I’m giving 5 stars only because I don’t want to lower the overall rating of this beach – the natural location is truly beautiful. However, this review is a serious and direct criticism aimed at the management of Hotel Marisa, who are in charge of this beach.

The organization is poor, and the cleanliness is even worse. The sunbeds are dirty, neglected, and clearly not cleaned regularly. But what’s truly unacceptable is the condition of the so-called VIP cabanas – they are absolutely filthy. Not just a bit dirty – really, really dirty. The fabric is stained, the cushions are unclean, and the top cover that’s supposed to provide shade doesn’t work at all. There is nothing VIP about them – not clean, not comfortable, not functional. Yet they’re charged as a premium service.

The waiter is kind and clearly doing his best, but the wait time is far too long – probably because he’s working alone across the entire beach. That’s not his fault, but again, a failure of the management and poor staffing.

Management needs to take responsibility immediately and start doing their job properly. This location has huge potential, but it’s being completely wasted due to neglect and poor organization. If I don’t see major improvements on my next visit, I will change this rating to 1 star – and it will be well deserved.

You will not find a better Hotel in Ulcinj! Amazing Staff! The Rooms are very clean. The Seaview is awesome!! Great Breakfast an the Restaurant at the Rooftop with the Pool are especially. We will come back for sure 😎

The hotel is located in an extremely beautiful area in Ulcinj and is luxurious enough to accommodate your every need!

Great staff, beautiful boutique hotel, lovely view, hospitable manager and nice Lima beach bar. We recommend it highly to all people who like to rest and chill in quiet paradise.

we spent 2 nights at hotel maris. one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever been to! view on the old town (by foot it will take you 7 minutes to go there, to ulcinj promenade it will be a 12 minutes walk).
a peaceful place and incredibly nice decorated. we loved the colors and details!
pool on the rooftop terrace and a nice beach (liman 1) with cristal clear water in front of the hotel.
if we can, we will return for sure!
