Had a really nice experience at Mingalar Mandalay. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Mandalay!

Located right next to the Chinese Embassy, I've stayed here multiple times. Every visit, I'm impressed by the hotel's design. The facilities are also comprehensive, with a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. The only downside is that the air conditioning is incredibly loud.

Reportedly the only 5-star hotel in Mandalay, it boasts an excellent location and very modern architecture and interior design, comparable to similar-level hotels in China. The breakfast is superb, with a vast array of choices. Right next to the hotel is a local shopping mall with a large supermarket. The hotel facilities are also quite good.

The restaurant is a bit old, and the Wi-Fi and internet connection are very poor, probably due to its location. Otherwise, it's just average.

The room is decorated in Burmese style with modern amenities and is very clean. I particularly liked the inverter air conditioner in the room, which made sleeping very comfortable and prevented sudden temperature changes (this is very important). The breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious. Listening to live music at the Sky Bar on the rooftop in the evening is also a great option.

The rooftop bar is great for group gatherings. It's good to relax as a family. Arranged places to discuss business matters. Security is reliable. The service is also good. The food is also very tasty and cool. Very clean and fresh. I like the design of this hotel. I really like the drinks at the bar.

Booked this Hotel online, very happy when we arrived it is a lovely, clean, modern Hotel we were very happy with our choice, breakfast included which was very good, not huge but enough selections and the Staff were lovely. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was really attentive. They were helpful to find me a tourist guide. I like their evening bbq and you get 2 free drinks at the bar everyday which is very appreciated. I recommend this place!

The room was big and clean and had a bath tub. The AC kept the room cool in the summer heat. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a huge and varied choice and the restaurant staff were really helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was nice and refreshing and the gym was a welcome addition, if a little old. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting Mandalay.

The hotel is a bit outside the city and overpriced. The facilities are comparable to other hotels but the rooms are almost twice as expensive. Didn't try the food so cannot comment on that. Breakfast is simple. Probably won't stay here again.

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful hotel. It feels like a small city in the city Mandalay... perfect hideout from city life. Calm area easy access to city center. You can see beautiful mountains right from the window. The food was delicious and the staff was absolutely awesome. We absolutely recommend this accommodation if you want to stay in Mandalay!

A spacious, lovely Banglores with a clean swimming pool. I used to hire its function rooms, the Grand hall and Meeting rooms for my business very often. Much appreciated of the service and management. I also booked here for my friends a few times and always got very good feedbacks.

The staff is very friendly and communicate in English well. The resort is very clean and the pool/restaurant area is relaxing. They have a nightly show of Burmese dancing and are very good at arranging sightseeing tours. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel/resort.

I lived in 100000 kyat worth room for 2 people. I like the service, they are so friendly. Breakfast is good. Price is little bit expensive but I guess it's worth. We love to stay there again for next visit. The room are clean, spacious and new in 2022 January. The foods and services are standard. You can choose for your visit.

My wife and I stayed here in January 2020. This is a solid option in Mandalay. The staff is helpful and speaks English well. They upgraded our room to one with a great view. The breakfast is pretty good. The rooftop bar area is surprisingly nice for Myanmar. The gym was average though I appreciated the new cycling bike. Overall a solid experience and would stay again if I’m ever in Mandalay

We get free upgrade to our room and it's superb. Comfy, clean and spacious. Like the interior design and room planning. Didn't get the chance to have proper breakfast there but the bread they gave us to eat on our way is nice. Much appreciated.

Not a great place. Always had some bad smell in the air. Very ordinary hotel, not really good for business travellers, the room orientation is also not good. Extremely poor WiFi connection. The staff don’t speak English and difficult to communicate. Not a good place if you are used to decent features during your business trip.

Smart bedrooms with all facilities. Some staff could speak English and they were generally helpful. They arranged a taxi for the airport, unfortunately on arrival the taxi driver wanted an extra 10000 MM over the agreed price which I declined to pay. Rooftop bar is nice touch for sunrise and sunset views across the city, though music quite loud in the evening.

Nice location and friendly staff

Pretty much your standard big city middle of the road accommodation. The room and bathroom were clean and the air conditioning was functional which is all you can really ask of a place like this. And the WiFi was consistent which is nice.

Depends on your perspective, if you need to stay near the railway station to catch an early train to another city, this hotel is a good choice. It has a relaxing environment, a nice restaurant at the lobby, a cozy bedroom with a glass bathroom! Great for love birds. However, if you are a light sleeper, the noise of early train sounding the horns may serve as unwanted morning calls. So it really depends...

Frankly, its an old hotel. It wasn't noticeably dirty, but it didn't really feel comfortable either. The bathroom specifically could have been better maintained and could also do with a patch up. Breakfast is just plain bad unfortunately. The location is pretty good however, and the staff are also quite friendly and helpful.

Love this hotel with its friendly staff. Allowed early check-in with just small fee. Definitely will come back to this one on my next trip.

Great service, they allowed us to do early check in even though we arrived at 7 AM, that was great. They provide a decent breakfast, can sort out tours and transfers, and staff is always happy to help out ( though most of them know little English). Free water in the room, clean and roomy. They were flexible and packed our breakfast as we had to leave early on our checkout.

It's a really good hotel and so cheap. The staff is amazing. They are more kind and helpful than in most 5* hotels in Europe. You can also organize bustickets and other things from them. The only thing I would suggest you not to do is the restaurant. You can find much better food next to the hotel on the street kitchens. But for drink and the great view from the rooftop it is worth it!

It's one of the best hotel i've ever been. Services are great. It's near all of the main places in Mandalay such as China town> Diamond Plaza> Maharmuni etc. It's just about 30 mins from this hotel to Kuthodaw Pagoda with Grab Thonebane. It's nice to stay peacefully.

Staffs are really nice and helpful. The room is not that small as we expected and bathroom is clean. The only thing that I didn't satisfy about is breakfast buffet. There are not many dishes to choose. Overall, it was worth it for that amazing price.

That hotel was renovated very soon. They have clean rooms with good prices to choose. The hotel is in the center of the city with 5 minutes work you can reach to the Ocean Supermarket.

A comfortable hotel in Mandalay - if you like walking it isn't far to Mandalay Palace and Mandalay Hill. Friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and good breakfasts. There is a roof bar with wide-ranging views over Mandalay - a lovely place to watch the sunset. Sometimes there are puppet shows on the roof terrace. We enjoyed our stay here.
