Great service, they allowed us to do early check in even though we arrived at 7 AM, that was great. They provide a decent breakfast, can sort out tours and transfers, and staff is always happy to help out ( though most of them know little English). Free water in the room, clean and roomy. They were flexible and packed our breakfast as we had to leave early on our checkout.
We were first shown to a room which smelt heavily of smoke. Then when we requested a different room, we were downgraded with no compensation or apology. The new room was infested with cockroaches in the bathroom and bedroom which we complained about, only to be told that they don’t ‘accept’ the problem. When we asked to speak to the manager they told us that he was in Yangon and didn’t speak English (both lies) and that we could pay $2 and leave. We paid immediately only to be told that we had to pay the full amount. They stood by the door and refused to let us leave. We then spoke to the manager who treated us just as badly as his staff. The staff told us we were lying and were openly mocking me. I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life and felt extremely threatened.

Price is very reasonable and staffs also friendly. Most of hotel in mdy charges upon local and foreigner rates. This hotel charged with whoever come with local or foreigners doesn’t matter. They will charged same rates. Room are quite clean and good to stay within your budget. Breakfast don’t enough to choose many things.Only they have Toast and Rice with bean and potato curry with free tea/coffee as usual budget hotel.Car parking only provided for one spot which always reserved with hotel owner’s vehicle :-p.
Hotel location is little bit far from mdy downtown( railways station and 78street) but easy to access go outside with 3 wheels or motorbike.

It's a really good hotel and so cheap. The staff is amazing. They are more kind and helpful than in most 5* hotels in Europe. You can also organize bustickets and other things from them. The only thing I would suggest you not to do is the restaurant. You can find much better food next to the hotel on the street kitchens. But for drink and the great view from the rooftop it is worth it!
Room was ok, position is convenient for exploring the West part of the city, nice roof terrace bar. Good news end here. Breakfast is quite forgettable, service at the reception not very helpful, motorbike renting experience terrible, food at the restaurant expensive and not good, internal phones ring in the corridor since 6 AM and nobody ever answer them, so if your room is next to one of those you can't sleep.
