My friend and I had a very wonderful day here. The room was very cool and clean, and the food was delicious. Because my language skills were not good, I encountered some difficulties. Mr. Naran was very patient in helping me solve them. Thank you, Mr. Naran, for your care.

Sapana Village Lodge was exceptionally friendly and accommodating when my friends and I visited. All the staff were polite and respectful, the food was consistently excellent and the resort was clean. We did the Jeep Safari with Dinesh, who is an excellent and experienced safari guide. We felt safe the entire time, and his expertise made the experience even more enjoyable because he was able to spot explain any question, and we spotted a variety of wildlife! Highly recommend visiting Sapana Village Lodge if you’re looking for a fun experience in Chitwan!

We visited Sapana Village Lodge as a group of two couples and couldn’t fault our stay. Naran the hotel manager greeted us with a smile and helped us plan each day with ease and made everything simple. All of the staff were lovely and friendly and always happy to help. Dinesh Giri was our safari guide and he had such a wealth of knowledge, as well as being safe and respectful to the animals. Under his guidance we were able to see a tiger, a wild elephant and lots of rhinos, crocodiles, birds etc. We had the best stay thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Sapana Lodge- beautiful surroundings, food and the staff are all great. A shout out to Dinesh Giri, our guide for the full Jeep tour - his passion for Nepalese wildlife and nature made our trip extra special. His expertise meant we saw rhinos, wild elephants and even a tiger- an unforgettable experience!

We did an elephant feeding and river bathing on our first day and then a full day jeep safari. Our guide Dinesh Giri was fantastic for both. He was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the flora and fauna. He picked a perfect spot for us on the safari to see a tiger coming to the river to drink. We were super lucky to see the tiger and very grateful to Dinesh for being and incredible and safe guide!

We had the most wonderful stay at Sapana Village Lodge in early January 2026, and we truly cannot say enough positive things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, everything about the lodge felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely special. The mission behind the lodge — supporting the local community and promoting sustainable tourism — is not just something they talk about; you can feel it in every aspect of your stay. The staff were unfailingly friendly, attentive, and kind, always greeting us with smiles and making us feel completely at home. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a peaceful riverside location near Chitwan National Park, the lodge offers a perfect balance of comfort and immersion in nature. Our accommodations were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with lovely views and a tranquil atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The food was another highlight of our visit. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We especially appreciated the variety of local dishes, all made with care and served with genuine hospitality. Dining at the lodge was something we looked forward to each day. A very special mention must go to our outstanding nature guide and birder, Dinesh Giri. Dinesh was absolutely excellent. His knowledge of wildlife — especially Nepali birds — is truly impressive. He has remarkable skill in tracking and observing wildlife, and his deep understanding of Chitwan National Park greatly enriched our experience. Whether we were on a jungle walk or scanning the skies for birdlife, he seemed to know exactly where to look and what to listen for. Beyond his expertise, he was incredibly generous with his time, patiently answering all of our questions and sharing insights that made every outing more meaningful. We learned so much from him and would request him again without hesitation. Overall, our stay at Sapana Village Lodge was unforgettable. The combination of beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, delicious food, meaningful community mission, and exceptional staff made this a truly special experience. We left with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the entire team. We highly recommend Sapana Village Lodge — and especially Dinesh Giri — to anyone visiting Chitwan. We had a fantastic time and hope to return one day!

I highly recommend staying at Sapana Village Lodge! Great place with kind people. The guides are very knowledge. I enjoyed walks with Santosh, Sahil, and Dinesh Giri.

We stayed 3 days/2 nights and wish we'd have planned more time here. This is a lovely facility with plenty of space to sit back and relax. There is a great variety of excursion choices, and our favorite was breakfast with elephants. We especially appreciated their focus on conservation and the local community. And the food: every meal was outstanding! Highly recommend!

The excursions were amazing!! The jeep rides were great but our guide Dinesh Giri made all the different he was so active trying to point out all the wildlife, animals and plants. He was so knowledgeable and a great guide. Breakfast with elephants is an absolute must!!! It was one of the coolest experiences of my life!!!

Absolutely wonderful, highly recommend staying for several days. We stayed for 5 nights and still could have spent more time here relaxing and doing more activities. There were so many great relaxation and gathering spaces. Amazing views from dinner/breakfast - watch rhinos and elephants walk the river and grasslands. So many wonderful and affordable cultural, elephant, and spa offerings. Nepali massage is recommended! Also, elephant interactions are wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfy, and staff are very friendly! They will help with transportation and any needs you have. Delicious drinks!
